Do I need CO2?

There's one thing that's always been in the back of my head now that I am doing ScrOG - CO2.

I don't know if I need it or not. Some people say it really helps, others say you shouldn't bother.

What do you guys think?

More info is needed, especially about:

a) Size of the growspace

b) Is the space sealable so that the CO2 does not leak out? You don't want to vent your expensive gas out.

c) Amount of plants

Well, I was just thinking in general terms. Like, "this is why you should do CO2."

I don't see why the size of the space or the amount of plants matter. Bigger room = more CO2.

One thing I don't understand is, if you seal the room, wouldn't the air inside get stagnant?

What I meant with the sealed room was that you need a room without ANY OTHER WAY FOR THE AIR TO GET OUT OTHER THAN THE EXHAUST.

Which of course you turn off for a good 7-15 minutes when you spray the CO2...

As your question is so broad; I would answer that if you have the money and interest, why not get it? Even if it's for a 10w LED micro led grow in a 1 quart / 1 litre soil container with an autoflower strain.

It's hard to answer your questions. If you got a small grow with a 250 watter then the CO2 that's already in the air will be fine. If you're bringing inside air into your grow from a intake blower, then you are adding CO2. Are you talking adding CO2 from a tank? No one knows what you are talking about. Are you using 1,000 watt lights? Bigger lights are going to require more CO2 to maximize crops. It also depends on temperature. There are many factors to consider but you're not giving us any details to consider. If you're filling the room with CO2 from a tank or burner, how is the room going to go stale? The plants are taking the CO2 that you are giving them. The room will go stale if the plants don't have enough CO2 to breath. Bigger room doesn't really equal more CO2 because we would assume that your bigger room would contain more lights and more plants that would use up the CO2 in the room much faster. If you want some good answers to help you, then it's best to give more details about what you are trying to do.

Is all other factors dialed in can you control humidity ??? how much power are you using ??? as for above post your not going to see gains with 10 watt led WTF
Running C02 you need lots of light for instance ,,, more then enough lights in your room for c02 to be effective
before even thinking about C02 can you grow healthy plants ??? do you have nutrient issues , pest issues ???what i am saying here is are you a knowledgeable grower with skills ????
C02 kills do you have pets , children
Is your room sealed so you can maintain 1200- 1500 ppm and temps 85 - 95 do you have a good dehumidifier
Do you have a room environment controller good room ventilation to keep c02 moving instead of dropping to the floor ???
initial costs can get up there monitors inside and outside of room for safety reasons dehumidifier, also pending if your going bottle c02 or c02 gen either way you shake it initial costs can get up there

Bottom line are you ready for the next level of growing ????

I grow in multiple rooms. The rooms without CO2 and using tap water grow better looking plants and bigger buds. The plants grown under CO2 and RO water create denser buds and more resin/better colors. The quality is better under CO2/RO.

theres a simple answer backed up by science not bullshit....the answer is properly using co2 will increase yield ,growth...end of story... the amount is debateable...that being said just dialing in your ventilation can do wonders without any co2.......I have both bottled and propane co2 setups so I have been able to compare over the years to judge...do you have to use co2..no if your ventilating and allowing new air in too your fine....if you want to push your plants to be all they can be than co2 is your friend...its not magic..dial your temps right, get the ferts in line and have decent lumens and co2 does work well...when I do stuff I go all in 100 %and using co2 is worth it if all requirements are met...
