I've never had a pest problem but I found a clear tan bug n it looks to be slime on a few plants which has me worried. Also there's random white spots on another. Can anyone help?

Get a scope if you cant ID your bugs...small 60x jewelers loupes are dirt cheap...or start an organic IPM regemin to eradicate and prevent further infestations...based off your pics and descriptions its hard to say
I would recommend starting and maintaining a good IPM program including periodical foliar sprays to anybody growing. The damage to your leaves looks like Thrip damage. If that's the case they are easy enough to get rid of. Montereys Garden Spray works really well for Thrips. The active ingredient is Spinosad. I would recommend having some of that on hand as well as 100% cold pressed neem oil as a good all around pest eliminator and preventative.
