Females do indeed take longer to show sex....USUALLY. Not always. Rule is the longer it takes to show sex, the better the chance it's a female. But that rule don't always hold true. Wouldn't change a thing, just go have a look see at Growdocs threads. They otta make ya feel better about yeild.

Why 12/12 from the get go??

Why 12/12 from the get go??

With a few exceptions (long flowering sativas are the exceptions like Nevilles Haze) you should start your plants on a veg cycle of 18/6 on/off or a 24 hour "always On" approach. Your plants won't develop correctly if started under the "flowering" cycle of 12/12.

thanks for positive feedback! ive been at this for months, with so many mess ups, male plants and herms i think i finaly got it this time, i got hindu kush and super skunk growing ( dont know which is which atm) but whats the difference from sativa and indiga?

Indica, Sativa and Ruderalis are the three main species of cannabis. Ruderalis isn't used very much..not very potent...R female be like smokin I or S males.

Sativa...grow to about 3' to 15'...usually 6 to 12 leaf blades..thinner longer blades...up to 6" internode spacing.

Indica...grow to about 6" to 4'...usually 3 to 5 leaf blades..short fat leaf blades..maybe marble like patterns in leaf...usually less than 3" internode spacing.

Hybrids are a combo of both...Sativa dominate or Indica dominate. Each produce different highs...breeders use the attributes they are looking for from different plants to create a new strain.

Hope this helps
