DNA Genetics- Fuego

Got a freebie seed last fall with a seed order. Popped the seed cause I'm a freak for popping newly released genetics. The seed plant was vegged for a few months, and then put into flower.

It's a weird looking plant. Buds are on the smaller side. Trich production is insane. The leaves next to the buds have those lines of crust down the edges of the leaves. I took some clones about 2 weeks into flower. They rooted, and 1 has already turned back to veg. Anyways, here's a couple pics. Plant was at about 40 days.

I encourage anyone who's growing this strain, or any of the new DNA collection to post pics in this thread. I'm gonna keep this strain around for a few more runs at least. Just to see wha I can do with her. The boys at DNA say that it's a great strain for extracts. So I plan on putting that theory to the test.

It has a different nose on her. Lots different than what I usually run. But after saying that, I can't remember enough to describe it. Tonight I will try to remember to see if I can smell it first thing and take some notes.

That looks a lot like the old Seedsman Ata Tundra I grew about 7-8 years ago. Very leafy, lots of frost and smallish buds. Billed as Kazakhstan x Matanuska Thunderfuck IIRC.

Veg smell was citrusy, cured to a lemon/lime. Royal bitch to trim. Smoke was meh. Would have been a great hash maker.

Yeah it is a weird plant. There's a belladonna plant that has almost the same look to it. Just has fatter buds. My partner has given them nicknames. The Belladonna he calls, cabbage patch kid, and the fuego he calls garbage pail kid.

I've been trying to find out the genetics of the El Fuego since I got it. Can't find any info on the parents of it.

I received a fem freebie of 'Fuego' from Attitude a month or so back. It had no description when you clicked on the freebie, but it was a different picture to the 'El Fuego' so I'm sort stumped.

It's the same strain. They do shit like that all the time. No matter what term they use, it means "fire" or 'the fire". The pheno I have is pretty spot on to the pic. Small buds with lots of trichs. I'm gonna keep her around and see what comes of her. Prolly gonna end up running a few clones outside.

Looks nothing like yours or the photo from DNA.Smell reminds me of DJ shorts blueberry. over ripe fruit chocolate ,with a hint of chocolate. 4 weeks from finish latest was at 2.5 weeks.
