DNA Genetics / Crockett's Family Farms / Reserva Reserva Privada

Hello from a new grower,

My local dispensary came through with what I hope are some quality seeds. DNA Genetics is now seemingly three companies. While all the seeds I purchased had the Crockett label, they are generally crossing DNA Gentetics and Reserva Privada strains. The strains that I purchased are (1) Tangie - Crockett is given credit for creating this strain which is a High Times Cannibus Cup winnner (2) Strawberry Fields - RP's Strawberry Banana and Tangie (3) Crocket's Confidental - cross of DNA's LA Confidential with a mystery strain (4) Golden Strawberries- cross between RP's Strawberry Banana & Kosher Kush.

I'm hoping the crosses were done with care. I've got to finish my current projects but look forward to hopefully working with good genetics. Crockett's Confidential and Strawberry Fields seem to have generated the most news of the three new products. I'm more of an Indica fan but went with their Tangie as a reliable sativa. Golden Strawberries has little information on it.

I hope to provide more information later on the grow but am curious if anyone else has experience with these strains.

Thanks.

my tangie was a trich bomb but had too much sativa paranoia to her buzz for my liking...straight up space rocket...if you are after a Sativa rip your face off high....she is the one...she is strong so i bet the hybrids are pretty awesome...DJXX

My experience with Tangie is limited as I'm mainly an indica user but have developed an appreciation for daytime sativa use A couple of enthusiatic Strawberry Fields grow journals motivated me to try this 65% sativa. The other two are indica dominant hybrids that will hopefully produce many squat and powerful plants with their Kush background.

I've seen some new Crockett strains are already sold out at seedbanks, and I was purchasing the last packets at my dispensary. Being new and not having access to clones, I was pleased to avoid an overseas transactions in my pursuit of good beans.

Looking forward to hearing other's experiences gowing these strains and perhaps learning about what to expect.

Much obliged!

I have the sour kosher (regular seeds) by crockett going right now, two weeks into flower. Updating sporadically on my IG page instagram.com/mrgrowguy if anyone is interested.

I also have a (personally) prized feminized sour kosher, and it is one of my favorite highs and flavors of all time. Some of the females from the pack are getting a sac or two right away, but once removed I haven't seen any new ones yet. My fem sk plant did have one sac from seed, but every subsequent clone run had been flawless (no sacs or nanners, totally clean) . I plan to try to breed that out over time. It's worth my effort imo.

I've chose two phenos to hit with a male, both very loud with citrics. The one ready in 60 days is open oranges, then turns to sweet tangerine, but also a generous producer with a happy high, easy to tame in any shape and branchy enough on its own with buds quite compact. Also the smell is more pungent than his 10 weeker sister, branchy too but with airy sativa leafy buds. The high is moodier in the latter, and the colours too.
I've been asked if it's spiked with something, the citrus smell is very strong, specially in the earlier one.
Good luck Spudgreen, sorry i've no photos but as for tangies: cuts root very well, all seeds from the pack sprouted, 6 males and 6 females, two of females showed one or two nanners that i just pulled out on sight, then finished fine, (but were discarded as parentals, anyway). Both chosen phenos are solid both indoors and outdoors. Males very homogeneus with long branches, tall and vigorous, hollow stems. Very fertile polen easy to reproduce them.
Don't know Reserva Privada (privada from what???) or Crockett or DNA or their story, too many actors i loose the plot, but these seeds are just fine, no complaints.

Tangie has a nervous paranoia to the buzz
ECSD destroys it IMO and has all the best qualities of a sari a leaning hybrid with a healthy amount of euphoria to boot
