DIY Formula 420 Glass Cleaner.......

a friend of mine kept insisting that I buy n' try the above product 'Formula420 Glass Cleaner' for its ease of use and thorough job of cleaning glass tokeware big & small. A 16 ounce bottle was $10.00

I ordered through Amazon & got it 2 days later, when I opened it the scent was familiar, as soon as it hit my hand I knew exactly what it was: Gojo Natural Orange Pumice Hand Cleaner & it also had some Kosher salt in it as well.

He was right, it cleaned every speck of stuck on oils without much other effort besides the 2-3 minute soaking I gave it in my bong. This is an all natural cleaning agent that rinses clean by running some warm water through the piece to finish.


$20.00 per gallon

So the bonus plan could be keeping an awesome hand cleaner around and having it double as your glass gear cleaning agent by adding in some Kosher salt when needed.


If you know someone that owns a mmj dispensary this is a no brainer to produce on the cheap and to stick on the counter, sell it or give it away. At $20.00 per gallon you can make eight 16 ounce bottles for about $3.00 each, Gojo, salt & bottle included. Permatex makes the same exact product @ $15.00 per gallon

If you're making up swag bags for a cannabis event a whole bunch of smaller single use units could be produced for sampling.

anyway I figured it was worth mentioning so you can have this fine product at the cheapest price.......

The active ingredient in those is I believe delimoline, it's a citrus based solvent. I am pretty sure you can findndelimoline with a much lower viscosity than the hand cleaner, can't think of the products now but you can buy it for sure. YOu could even buy deli online solvent straight from the manufacturer for like 60 a gallon.

I would be curious how it would work adding some of the dlimoline booster to ISO, I assume the glass cleaners are water and solvent.

yeah, if you've ever used this stuff after working on your car you'd know how it knocks the grease off your hands in a heartbeat, rinse your paws and then sit down and eat your lunch with the hands you just washed, no problem.

I've used 99% iso, Dawn dish soap and Kosher salt for years myself, but this Gojo based cleaner works much better, I could see it stripping the gunk from the glass even before agitating my bong.

iso and salt.. best and cheap.. and dont need to worry about inhaling any BS as long as you rinse with hot water and let sitttttttttttt

try the iso salt or iso sugar after you wash all of that shit out put it in the oven on the lowest setting like 170 or 190 and let that bitch sit for like 30 mins be carful while takeing it out sit that bitch on the counter for like another 20 mins and as emerald would say bam clean as new

To be honest i didnt care for the 420 cleaner or the orange cleaner in my bong.for quick and easy iso +salt is still king.BUT!if you got the money Grunge Off is the best.its pricey but nothing is better except maybe acetone but it will strip your logo if its important to you.

I found out a couple of things since first posting this thread: Fast Orange (GoJo copy) is $12.99 on store shelves, second thing is that you need to add water (about 20% volume) to the orange pumice product of your choice to make it thin enough to slosh around your glass pieces, and of course kosher salt (+/- to your liking) completes the recipe.......

I wouldn't use any caustic chemicals or liquids because if you leave even the tiniest bit of grunge behind in your glass, you can be sure that it has held onto some of that bad crap

it's only listed as an eye irritant Tudo, safe to use on skin but requiring a water rinse (as per instructions) after its use. That shit cuts grease fast but is user friendly

shouldn't be swallowed I'll assume, but rinses cleanly away with warm or warm & soapy water.

After using anything like alcohol, soap, and salt as I had done before I'd always thoroughly rinse my glassware; I rinsed my glassware the same way after using the GOJO based cleaner, that only made sense to me.
