DIY bubble cloner advice

Hoping some might have input to whether this will work for me..

I have some unused gear I think I can toss together a decent cloner, I haven't done much cloning to date but improvements to my setup has me at the point of looking for keepers.

I have a Ziploc WeatherShield 6.6 gallon container..

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ziploc-2...MIp_GOotbY4wIVjZ-fCh09UQ6HEAQYASABEgIvKvD_BwE

Interior height is 7" from bottom of lid, but the other dimensions will work well for a 12 site setup under T5 in my seedling cabinet. This shallow height is the reason i'm thinking bubble vs aero.

I also have an EcoAir 2 adjustable dual port pump, and i'm hoping to hear it's enough pump to run 4x 12" long airstones.. one under each row of 3 clones. Is 1.7psi enough or should I consider a larger pump?

Airstone over air diffuser? Appreciate any input..

make sure the plastic is food safe type, i think 5 is the safe plastic. i run a psycloner, which is dwc with a recirc pump. i have replaced the original pump with a less powerful, smaller pump @66gph. i keep tips submerged.

not sure about your psi, but with that many airstones id make sure you have enough air. can always turn down the flow if its too much blast.

a 6 gallon container is way more than you need for a 12 site cloner

I have two homemade bubble cloners. A 1 gallon - 15 site and a 3 gallon 45 site.
personally i'd get a smaller tub and just run 2 airstones.

when you do get your cloner going >> fill the water level so that the cuttings stems are submerged a little bit. and if your ambient temps are about 70 or over you wont need a heater. 1.5 to 3 weeks for roots, strain dependant.

I've been rocking my two units for over 10 years, have gone through numerous pumps but the units are still solid

So.. I ended up buying a 5 gallon 21 site bucket cloner off craigslist, he even tossed in a 2 bulb 2" T5.. right around the corner for $20. Haven't used it yet other than testing pump and bulbs but I will be soon.
