DIY aero cloner manifold/gpm

Hi there, I'm looking to assemble a bucket cloner for four sites using 180 degree sprayers.

Essentially want each sprayer to handle each "corner" of the bucket, so each cutting has its own atomizer.

Thinking of putting T's on the ends of a T, for four sprayer sites, and cap off the end of the pipes.

Basically a big H shape with a sprayer at each point of the H.

Now I've seen in other places that do 12 sprayers with a 350 gpm, equating about 30 gpm per sprayer. I was just wondering if using four sites would create too much pressure with a 132gpm. Is there such thing as too much pressure into an aeroponics sprayer? Or does more pressure = smaller droplets = better for cuttings' root development?

Maybe a more direct way to ask my question:

Has anyone designed one o these but ended up with either TOO MUCH or TOO LITTLE pressure from any sprayer nozzle(s)?

If so, what was your total nozzle count and gpm of your pump?

Just saw a video using 396gpm (36w) on 8 sprayers, pressure seemed alright. Water temp with that large of a pump? Not sure... maybe the 290gpm (28w) would do better with temp? Any input on pump size with eight sprayers in a 5gal bucket?

i made one 5 days ago, I needed 4 elbows, 2 straight t connectors and a threaded t connector, and a 6 inch nipple. I am running a 292 pump and its more then enough

if your going to go with a 5 gallon cloner I wouldn't make a manifold I would just buy a sprinkler head and attach it directly to the pump

Thank you porkchop!! That's all I really needed to hear regarding pressure lol

The sprinkler head, could you link me to an example?

go to home depot or lowes and get an outdoor sprinkler head for irrigation, it most likely will be a 1/2 inch thread that will connect directly to the pump if the pump accepts 1/2 inch. if you watch this video on youtube you can barely see what I am talking about look up Easiest DIY Aeroponics Cloner Ever!

if you are using a 132 pump it will do the 5 gallon I think but not positive but you will most likely need an adaptor to connect the pump to either your manifold or sprinkler head

Yeah I know the video, maybe I can find a link in the description. Thanks for your input brotha

if you go with the sprinkler just grab a 360 spray pattern, that will bounce of the walls of the bucket which should reach your clones if the pressure is right

Went with the sprinkler head. I preferred the ~400gpm pressure over the ~300gpm pump.

Shoots right at the bottom of pucks and splashes all over

Just in case anyone else is having trouble like I did.

Pump on 24hrs = 81f 2 gallons of water with benefox, a compost tea of beneficial bacteria. Just took a few clones from week5-6 flowering plants. I've taken clones from week2-3 before let's see how these turn out :)
