DIY 4x4 Grow Tent?

I'm just wrapping up 4 months of flowering in a DIY grow tent.
I used a "0 degree Celcius" ice fishing hut.
6x6 x 7ft inside and I've been flowering with a 940W HPS
I hung black/white poly , lining the walls and hung a 4foot diameter parabol reflector in the ceiling, attaching the ducting for my 450 CFM inline exhaust to the opening in center of parabol. intakes are 4" tubes, passive.
it's been working like a fricken hot damn and was ridiculously cheap to set up.
I didn't have to damage the ice hut at all and when I've taken everything down at the end of this weekend, the ice hut will be ready to go fishin again when winter comes LOL
lots of pics of my set up in the beginning of my grow diary.

How much is ridiculously cheap?

I believe I got the ice hut on sale at end of season clearance for 119.00 Canadian dollars. I bought it for ice fishing and have put it too good use in temps down to -38C many times. So it's rated easily for the rigors of -38C to +97C LOL
upside: cost, no offgassing, very sturdy construction and center hub easily supports weight of light and parabol. No permanent modifications required.
downsides: you have to get creative to hang the reflective materials, the door is big but shaped like a triangle so can be a pain taking bigger plants out for flushing in the tub.
and that's about it.

bonus is , now that my flowering is complete for the summer, I started taking down the ice hut grow tent at 9:45 am and it's 10:56 and I'm all done and ready to roll up my first doob of freshly cured Antenna Purplelazerlite ;)

I made a nice one with spf lumber 2"X3"X96", a 25' X10' roll of reflective black/white reflective plastic, wood staples and 3" wood screws.

It's has 48" X49" interior size with an inside height of 84". To make it bigger I can just rip the plastic off one end and add more wood to extend it.

With real wood I can hang something really heavy if I want. :woohoo:

I am using a new small 6'X8' blue tarp for a floor. It's easy to clean my cabinet by just
sliding it away since it's not attached to the cabinet at all and wash it once I'm done.

You can also put screws in the ceiling lumber for stringing up live plant supports.
I have some now as my seedy plants are getting heavy limbs now.

It's also cost me less than $100 CDN to make it.

BTW: that a 5 gallon pail.

I've been using a panda plastic 4x4x8 like yours for almost 2 years. I spent a few bucks on angle brackets for the corners. I also used square pieces of wood on two sides (opposite corners) to make it stiffer. Each piece of wood has a ducting take off collar, for attaching ducting from my hepa filters.

It works.

My largest complaint is the zipper doorway being just a slit. Haven't seen any large 'tent' zippers like you find on a tent, that work on panda plastic.

Should I ever build another, I will be looking for a lightweight material to replace the plastic. I just picked up a DR120 instead and it's decent.

What isn't pictured above is that I have a piece of lumber going horizontally half way up on two sides to stabilize the cabinet.

I recently placed two new nice little 6" fans on one of them.
