dispensing to the clubs in Norcal...any experience here?

Sorry if this is off-grounds here. Thought this would be the best sub-forum to share.

I went to a few clubs in nor cal. Having done this a few times in SoCal (although admittedly more recently I have let other people do this part of the game), I felt confident going in and working out a reasonable middle-ground.


I went in with organic sativas- purple sativa's (hehe, make fun of me all you want but we all know what's marketable). Truly pristine buds; the best I've ever had in my years, and I mean that sincerely and with no reason to lie about this batches quality to online folks. Long story short, they wouldn't budge over 2800 a pound, or 750 a QP. This was consistent at the clubs I visited in norcal.

I sampled a few of their strains, and realized they were marketing a variety of "organic kush" samples that was clearly mediocre outdoor. And I'm sure you're aware of the prices.

Anybody else have similar experiences with vendors? Am I being ridiculous in laughing at that number?

get used to the new reality.
if you think that was a low number you should try sacramento. i never heard such lowballing until i went out there. and they wanted it on consignment.
maybe the flood is ending soon up here, but I wouldn't count on it until you start seeing the numbers change. maybe the flood will never end this year and the buyers market will go on indefinitely. either way I'm hitting the streets first from here on out.
also, this thread belongs in the California sub-forum where there is already another one just like it buried back a few pages.

welcome to reality....the clubs are realizing that people will pay 50 an 8th for outdoor because they got no idea how to tell difference....

why pay 36 for indoor when you can just get outdoors for 26?

selling to the clubs in norcal is a waste of fucking time IMO...unless you are friends with the club owner or some shit.

shit ive bought pounds from this one club because my boy gets it so cheap (he lowballs vendors) that sometimes he just middles the pounds to his friends instead of breaking them down locally....

also..people out here dont care for sativas..i remember having some really good J1 jack that was 37 a P....alot of kids i sold it to complained it didnt get them high enough...

people out here want KUSH...or PURP. I wouldnt waste any other sq footage in your grow room on anything else unless its personal stash.

i do know a club paying highball for OG kush or blackberry kush right now...

Man I'm still trying to re-adjust my nut-sack to the proportions required to drive cross country with pounds on me. I'm so fed up with the over-saturation and dummies I'm seriously considering a move though. I would be OK and accepting if the capitalist market had taken hold, and the prices had simply gone down relative to worth and quality. But it's not like that at all; people in general are still pot-retarded and are getting scammed for mediocre buds. These days it's best to grow quantity over quality, even as the market has become more competitive. Isn't one of the tenants of capitalism that it's suppose to work the other way?

I'm thinking it's worth risking a felony and starting from scratch somewhere in the Midwest. I mean it. Those folks are getting double what we are for weed we'd turn away from.

Sounds a bit high, but I still believe it. Wholesale around these parts you will expect to fetch about $4,000-4,200 per lbs for quality stuff. For Pennsylvania/New Jersey/Deleware/Maryland.
