It's been over a year since The Disco Biscuits last show in California, but after such a warm reception at the Greek, we knew that when we came back it would be for a full tour of the Golden State! Well West Coasters, that tour is upon us!
The Biscuits will open the first leg of Spring Tour 2009, with a show they have been anticipating for several years now within the hallowed halls of the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco on Friday, April 3rd. From there, we head up to the mountains to catch our first of two West Coast Saturday's at the Crystal Bay Casino in Crystal Bay, NV. Right over the border from CA, and set in beautiful and majestic Lake Tahoe, Crystal Bay is going to be a ridiculous time!
From Tahoe, we head up north to visit our friends in the divine countryside of Humboldt County. On Sunday, April 5th, the Biscuits set down at Eureka Theater for what will be the headiest of throwdowns.
Making our way south from NorCal, we head back "home" for a few days in the sun of the Central Coast! Returning to Santa Cruz on Tuesday, April 7th, the Biscuits will drop into the Catalyst to usher in Brownie's Birthday at midnight, before heading south toward the border.
After some fun in the sun, we start it back up for a Thursday show at the House of Blues in San Diego on April 9th. From there, we settle into Los Angeles for two nights of debauchery, April 10th & 11th, at the House of Blues - Sunset Strip! This special two night stand will close off the West Coast leg of Spring Tour with a bang.
We're so excited to team up with our good friend, Ott, the master of Psy-Dub from the Twisted Records label in the UK! Ott will be playing all of the shows on the West Coast with us, except for Saturday night in LA. Check back in the coming weeks for information on official after parties.
As we get ready to hit the road, there is another Winter Tour show to tell you about. We're headed to Port City Music Hall in Portland, ME on Wednesday, February 25th!
Tickets will be available for Portland and all of the California shows through BiscoTix on Friday, January 16th, before becoming available to the public on Ticketmaster, starting Friday, January 23rd.
