i don't see the need of a digital volcano when the well known knob volcano seems to be acurate enough... discuss.

I have the knob model,, and like it a whole lot., but honestly,, that Digit on my vape table would look damn nice.;) Gets me thinkin'.. I might even buy one of them little robots and mount that Digit on its head and have the little fucker follow me around with fresh hits! hahahah..!.. Anywayzzz the new models look nice.. but i wont upgrade for a while, since i just got mine like 2 years ago. but if i ever am in need of another one,, i'll get the Digit..:).. Peace.. be well.

Cannabismavin,

I'd rather have the anlog control in my honest opinion, easier to use and it isn't as much of an eye-sore. Over on TC is was mentioned that Americans have been pushing for a digital model so here it is.

What I'm really interested in though is those new Easy Valve sets.. looks real interesting.

p.s. i think the digi is like 600$ while the regular volcano is anywhere from 450-500$

About time...

They should have made it digital in the first place like a Steinel heat gun.

With how overpriced it is your still better off just getting a Steinel heat gun and a Volcano bag valve set. Save you at least a couple hundred dollars.

I still kick myself for buying the Volcano when I already had a Steinel laying around.

My Volcano base unit is dusty and unused. I just fill up my bags with the gun.

Eh... I'd still choose the model I have (non-digital) -- it's like with power options on a car... it's just one more thing that's going to break

My 2 biggest pet peeves with the one I have (First gen, analog)

1) Weed holding part always falls off the base (MAGNETS PEOPLE!!!)

2) Switches can't be operated one handed, easily. I have found the Daniel-San method of "hammer the nail" to be the best way. The thing NEEDS TOGGLE SWITCHES!

If the new version had fixed these, then maybe. Otherwise, why bother? I've had mine for a while, and she's a fucking champ. German engineering, I guess.

It's not just the digital it comes with a new filtered mouth piece, a new air tight filling chamber and updated version of the valve.... My Volcano is the 1.0 and the fan, valve and filling container have issues....The filling container is not airtight and is harder to clean, the fan on the old model is louder and less powerful...The new valve seems much more efficent..... ;)
