digital camera question - what I looking for ?

hello,

im looking for a pocket ditital camera which I need in school but i like it to get good macros also.

so, what I looking for to get better macros -

1cm macro distance and 4x optical zoom for ex. Canon A620

I thing also to get Fuji F10 camera cus it takes really great photos outdoors and indoor with low light scenes. It is a little smaller then Lumix and canon, and it got ISO 1600 and really nice noise level.

but it is 7cm macro distance and 3x optical zoom - if it is enough to see the clear or milk trichoms heads ill take it, if not i will get canon or lumix.

I will be thankful for your opinion guys. Maybe someone of you have Fuji F10 and try some macros with it ?

Hello, I just received the Canon A620 as a gift. It is an excellent camera... No macro shots yet as my plants are still seedlings.

I know this camera make great macros but I whait for opinion about others - if 10x optical zoom can get better macros ? cus I dont know what I looking for.
