Could b from the paper, or reburning the resign. The resign coats the bud as you pull it through the joint, then by the time you get towards the end it soaked. Its reburnt.

Like taking a resign hit once you get towards the end. resign always get me that stupid slow high. I hate that.

Ever use a vaporizer, holy shit, talk about a different high. I cant function somtimes after a few vapor pulls.

just babiling here

I know what you're talking about.

It's definately the paper, like gmanwho said.
Paper has bleach, arsenic, and tonnes of other bad stuff you don't want in your lungs.

I love smoking joints though :joint:
So I found Aleda or any other 100% celulose rollies work best
There is no glue which is even worse than the paper :yoinks:
They are easy to roll with, and they are transparent...so they look neat and they have absolutely no taste at all...all you can taste is your weed...never the paper.
If you try it, you'll never smoke a nasty paper joint again :yummy:

Best of luck finding a perfect solution that works for you :ying:

i get different highs too. a joint or blunt always seems to be less strong but last a while longer. some hard rips out of glass seem to get me skullfucked, but only really keep the stoned feeling for half hour to 45 minutes. vape is diff too.

I smoked out of a vaporizor for the first time a few days ago. It definitely was a different high but I can safely say that it wasnt as strong a high as a glass bowl of the same weed (NL). Ill stick with my bowls and bongs....I wasnt impressed with the vaporizor.

The cellulose papers are cool, Great the first time you smoke one. definitely a conversation piece.

Ive tried a volcano a few times, and Ill just say that its the most expensive smoking device my friends never use. The high never seems to be as intense. Ive maybe smoked 2 joints in my entire life, i prefer the bong/bowl anyday.

joints made of cellulose paper also burn slower than regular paper leaves. it's also great to smoke outdoors, speacially if it gets windy.

I dont really find that aleda papers taste better.
They dont have a taste but they dont let air through the side of the joint, so you inhale all the tar from burning the weed.

A normal paper lets air through and so you inhale a little less tar

Vaping is definatley a different high...but I can see why seeing that your not burning the buds. I've noticed the same thing with blunts/joints and bowls being different as well sometimes. I always just assumed it was because I was smoking less.

For my first 15 years I only ate hash, I never smoked, and found it the best, broadest hit compared to any method of smoking. But I graduated onto daily use about 10 years ago, so eating it isn't really an option, tolerance to it would build very quickly. I've tried everything from straight pipes to vaporizers (in my humble, they lead to a lesser high and increased use), you name it. Only pipes without filters of any kind give me anything like the high I want, but every method except one has led to build up in my lungs and a lot of coughing. I now use a bong without water, roasting the weed from a distance above the cone, drawing the smoke into the bowl, then sucking it in as I take my thumb of the air-hole. This tends to cool the smoke down an awful lot and, as long as I'm careful not to reburn, very little lung crap and coughing. It's lowered my consumption as the high is that much better too.

My own little opinion:

I can best feel what Cannabis is about when not mixed with Tobacco. Tobacco is generally overlooked as a psychoactive drug, and I'm sure that it has strong effect on the Cannabis high.

Another real problem with mixing tobacco and Cannabis, is that until I stopped Tobacco (and then smoked tobacco again one year later after a difficult event, and then stopped again 3 months later) , I didn't get that 'to want a joint' was really 'to want nicotine'. In fact, I smoked few cigarettes, but the unfiltered tobacco in my joints was enough to get a strong nicotine addiction, and its no good at all: I smoked more joints/bongs/whatever to cope with my nicotine addiction.

I've put the tobacco out of the equation, and discovered that Cannabis isn't at all something "I need right now 5 minutes after I woke up". It was tobacco that did that, but I didn't get the difference until recently.

Pure Cannabis, for me, feels like a much less confusing and couchlock high then what I was used too with tobacco.

so I see two groups

-any smoking method with tobacco (joints, pipe, bong) feels about the same. I know well that a bong hits hard, but a whole 1 gram joint hits hard too, it's just a little less efficient as there is more lost smoke, and it takes longer to smoke too, but in the end I feel the same.

-any smoking method without tobacco (joints, pipe, bong) feels about the same.
