Did these PinkBuds hermie on me?

Hey folks.
I'm growing out some PinkBuds seeds that I made earlier this year. I was quite unhappy with their fussy growth. For some reason this stain does not get along with me.

Here are some pictures of some that are 4-5 weeks old. I left them in party cups for too long, stunting them. My mistake. However, even after transplant they're remaining very unhealthy.

In fact, I believe they've hermied on me. Im not saying its poor genetics or anything. Im just not happy with the way these plants grow.

So tell me. Are these girls becoming BALLSY?

I don't think so from those pictures. What looks like a nanner in the 3rd to last photo I think is just a yellowing new leaf tip.

no what you see is the new leaves growing out the buds, at this stage in flowering i also have trashed a few plants in my past, to only see that that strain produces differently than the ones i was used to....dont worry your plant did not herm

yepp! looks like emerging leaf tips which did not produce enuff chlorophyll and developing a chlorosis, ... seems like you have some ph related or nutrient related issues (could also be water logging/stale water), but no visible nanners :)

Are you still using that hard water?

Stunting won't help as they could have locked out pretty quickly in the cups..

I found Pinkbud could take a decent level of liquid organic nutrients without burning/overfert issues. I have soft tap water and use Biobizz nutrients.

Hope you get them sorted :)

Thanks. I'm going to start using snow melt for water along with MaxiBloom. I have a Milwaukee pH600 on its way. Finally. Can't believe I have gone this far without a pH meter.
My well water is orange with rust. I have a $5000 Culligan filtration system as well as a softener. Still, my washer, dryer, sinks, bathtubs, toilets, white clothes and coffee maker stain orange. I'm contemplating having a new well drilled next summer. What a pain.

I've started some more pinkbuds in 32oz fast food cups. I believe these containers will be large enough to leave em in until sex shows with reduced risk of stunting.

Maxibloom has plenty of calcium and magnesium when used with R/O water. Couple hundred bucks on a good R/O unit and at least your plants will be suuuuuper happy with you. :D

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

Picked up some water from a spring fed lake today. I bet the girls will like it better. Gave em a good dose of maxibloom today as well.

They look pretty fat and frosty dude, shame about the stunting but should still be a nice little smoke.

I don't know about stunting. I think the pinks buds stay small like that. Out of the 8 females i grew out not one of them got bigger than 8-10 inches.

Wasn't the case for me. 10 inches is the smallest Pinkbud i've had, the largest was 20"

Most fall in between.

Where's SGS? He told me they stay fairly small and that's why they are a good option for a sog grow in beer cups.

Smokey, they were labelled from the get go. And no chance of mixing those strains up even if they weren't labelled, totally different!

If you kept them in cups no doubt they would stay small, but started in a reasonable size container and potted up to an even bigger size they can get big (for a dwarf AF)

SAH a.k.a Frito Bandito grew them a few months ago and he measured his at 20-21 inch.

Don't have any measurement info from him but 'farmerjoe' has just grew pinkbud in 1 gallon pots and some of his look pretty large from the photos.

The smallest Pinkbud I grew maxed out at 12"

That was 1 in 12 females though, the rest were bigger.

Not great Pic quality sorry, but here is a Heavy Pinkbud Pheno that has come out in the Pinksalad F2's I'm growing at the moment. Currently it's 50cm tall.
