DID IS MISS FIMMING?!?

At the moment I am 5-6 weeks from seed and I fimmed my plants about a week ago, but I think I fucking missed "Fuck I Missed" What do you think? And what did I do wrong if I really missed?


ALSO, should I trim lower leaves? They got no light at all.

It's hard to tell if you got it or not from that angle. I still screw up some of my attempts at FIM, so don't feel bad. When you mess up it's usually either from a crooked cut or not cutting enough of the growth tip.

If you scroll up this page, you'll see the IC logo with the globe. If you pretend that logo is your growth tip, your cut should be right through Australia.

I don't trim any leaves unless they're dead and crispy or they're blocking light from the buds. That way the plant can still pull nutrients from them and I can tell if they have a deficiency.

Not sure about the fimming but you should remove the leaves at the absolute bottoms that can get no light at all..
Will give the top of your medium extra breathing space which is good..
Also permashaded and/or dying leaves are an infection vector which you are probably better off without.

Didnt think u could fuck up fimming... considering it is actually a mistake made while attempting to top a plant... u either will have 2 main shoots if u topped multiples if u fimmed... ur pics look fine... n good advice on cutting out lower leaf...
