did I get ripped off (pm on clones)

I just picked up some clones.

Getting back home I noticed what looks like PM.

I contacted the seller and they said it was just stains from foliar feeding.

Ive seen foliar feeding stains and they did not look like this last time I saw them.

What do you guys think?

I would suspect it is powdery mildew too. I would also keep it away from my grow room for further observation. Check the patches with a microscope.

Vinegar
The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar is very effective in killing powdery mildew. Take care to not make the mixture too strong as the acidity of the vinegar can burn plant leaves.

Mix 4 tbsp. of vinegar (5% solution) with 1 gallon of water. Reapply every three days.

Baking Soda
Baking soda has a pH of 9, which is very high! Treating with baking soda raises the pH level on the plants and creates a very alkaline environment that kills fungus. There have been mixed reports of success when using baking soda to treat severe cases, so it may be better as a preventative treatment than a fungicide.

How to Use:

Mix 1 tbsp. of baking soda and 1/2 tsp. liquid hand soap with one gallon of water.
Spray solution on affected leaves, and dispose of any remaining solution.
Do not apply during daylight hours. It may be best to test one or two leaves to see if the solution will cause the plant to suffer sunburn.

Another reason to start from seed. PM is common....better to have PM than bring in pests. Good luck.

Powdery mildew is a fungus pest.

Types of Pesticides

Insecticides – insects.
Herbicides – plants.
Rodenticides – rodents (rats & mice)
Bactericides – bacteria.
Fungicides – fungi.
Larvicides – larvae.

Thanks for info guys! If I do a treatment, does that imply I will have to do treatments throughout the whole grow?

OR

If I keep enviornment stable, is there a chance it wont show up?

I do know its literally embedded in the plant but if there is proper wind will it suppress it enough

I wouldn't even bring that shit into my grow. Not worth the trouble. I would take them back to where you bought them if that's possible and I would ask for my money back. Otherwise I would double bag those things and throw them in the trash.
