I use a lead foil hat myself. Hard to find, expensive and heavy as fuck, but SO worth it. I haven't wanted to mass murder even once since I made it.

lol believe me mate if they reach the flir stage in the investigation they have known your secret for a longtime. As long you isolate everything properly and take care of a "weird" exhaust you should be fine.

A friend of me was smoking some herbs in his house, he told me a police copter kept flying around his house. I told him, WOW that had to be some high quality shit you smoked (as if the heli can see or smell whatever you're smoking in a room which has no view to outside lol)? He didn't understand the joke but really people get paranoid over this FLIR crap.

Simply many growers get busted because of they get snitched or they didn't build a proper grow room and their neighbors start to smell MJ odor etc.
