gametes and aleales I wont get into, id have to check facts first-L.O.L.
But if the hermie pollenates itself you get 50/50.
You must pollenate another female plant to get female seed.
Reason is, there are both female and male genes in all pollen.
But a female with male pods has a screwed up ratio. It will have three female parts and one male. If you pollenate a female then your drownding the one male part in the pollen grain .
It will be outnumbered 7 to 1 or something to the likes.
so your seeds will still have that 12.5% male ratio, but it's now a hidden trait.
If you try to make femm seed from femm seed, this ratio will begin to increase, causing more hermies to surface in the strain. Because your inbreeding the hermie trait.
So Femm-1 is great, femm-2 can be 25% hermie to 75 % hermie depending on which pollen donor you choose.
It's also possible to lock in hermiesm by breeding siblings together. I have done it by experiment/accident.
hope this helps

I'm not sure if the hermie trait carries on or not, it might just be with the plant it hermied on. If everything went right you should have some nice female seeds to play with.
