Diaz UFC Unfairly banned 5 Years petition

Nick was unfairly banned for 5 years for smoking pot and While using Steroids penalty is one year with Silva being his opponent last fight.

1st test was .55 Before Fight
2nd test was 700 Was taken after the fight
3rd test was .77 After Fight

1st test is the 3rd one from the same company while 2nd test was taken by a different company.

It's bullshit. The NV State athletic commission can't admit their non certified lab result is bullshit. He passed both the certified lab test and they go with the non cert'ed result. Which was the second test by the way. Strange. Pass the first, fail the second, pass the third-ALL TAKEN THE NIGHT OF THE FIGHT!!!
. Nevada should change their state motto from Battle Born, which they weren't by the way, to Bend Over And take It In The Ass Nevadan's!!! Would love to see the flag they come up with to represent that!!!

Henry Cejudo refuses to fight in Nevada in light of Nick Diaz's suspension.Cejudo (9-0) is scheduled to fight Jussier Formiga on Nov. 21 in Monterrey,Mexico.

From Henry's manager.

"I personally applauded the UFC for imposition of their anti-doping policy, as it comes with the legacy and credibility of USADA,as well as appropriate protocols and processes to ensure fair and credible testing.The opposite appears true with respect to the NAC.Until the NAC testing process can be independently reviewed,its findings made public,and corrective action taken,I personally do not believe it is a safe or credible place to conduct business.That includes a review of the recent actions and competencies of Commission members.
Others may want to roll the dice in Nevada, but I for one do not feel the NAC is capable of conducting itself in a manner consistent with their mission statement, appropriate enforcement of existing regulations, conducting business in a fair and unbiased manner, or the exercise of due process in their enforcement actions."

What does this have to do with Obama? I'll sign it anyway, since Nick is my favorite fighter and this ban shouldn't have happened. Obama had nothing to do with it though.

Rules are rules, in that if he agreed to something and didnt walk the walk then its not a1 i believe

What constitutes doping, not sure, thats for the experts/responsible to find out

Phelps (mike) was best swimmer, most medals if not mistaken
Got caught for weed plus pictures of him hitting the bong

There was also the snowboard guy, canadian maybe, took away his medal (ross comes to mind)
He said it must have been second hand smoke, so i think they gave it back to him

forgive my ignorance, but does the state of Nevada make the rules for all the other states? (is that where boxing and fight rules HQ is or something?) if he was banned by Nevada does that mean he cant fight in Europe or Aisa? The UFC has events in all parts of the world.. so who exactly is Nevada to ban him worldwide? Is that like the Worldwide Committee Licensing thing or something?

The UFC has decided it will follow Nevada's lead in terms of bans and supensions. They won't put Nick in a UFC event elsewhere if he's suspended in Nevada.

If this isn't overturned, I hope Nick can at least fight for other another organization like Bellator.

Ah I see.. thanks for taking the time to explain m314...

it's a shame the UFC feels this way but at least it is a choice they are making to follow the Nevada guidelines... that means if it becomes too ridiculous, they could in theory decide not to follow them as well

That would be funny. Joe Rogan is the best commentator in MMA, and a huge proponent of the legalization movement. He has a female plant in flowering tattooed on his arm. He's successful outside of the UFC on tv and in stand up comedy. There's no way he would take a drug test for a job.

I don't know if Dana White gets high, but he seems to think people should be free to get high if they want to. He's just not going to fight Nevada over this when his company makes so much money in Vegas.
