40c??? That's insanely high. That color is often associated with phosphorous problems, but at those temps a lot of other things could be at play. Your watering frequency is pretty crazy.

First step is to do whatever you have to do to drop those temps and check your soil pH.

Well brother, follow your instincts Pull it out again, if it improves you got your answer. I hate everything plastic in my grow space.....
In your case it can very well be a combination of things. High temps certainly increase the potential for 'outgasing'. Are you ventilating the tent at all?
