Diagnose

Hello again :D

I'd like a little help knowing what causes something on my girls.
I'm not english native and can't find the good wording for what the leaves are doing, they have been doing it since they were born and i still don't have a clue..

Here's a picture:

All the tips of the leaves are standing straight up, they're like spoilers on sportscars :D
I'm pretty sure "tip" isn't the right wording, when doing google searches with tip i always end up with plants that have droopy leaves which isn't the case.

Thx in advance :D

Google Vapor Pressure Deficit. I am guessing your relative humidity is too low. What is your humidity and temperature?

Thx for your time.
It's more the opposite for the humidity, looking back at the last 7 days it was always between 52% and 57% while i'd like it more to be around 40% now as it's nearing the end (day 74) picture is from yesterday.
I do not have a decent dehumidifier yet, just 2 mini ones that lower 3% each :D
For the temperature over the last 7 days it was between 25°C and 27°C
I repeat tho, this is surely not a new problem/deficiency, they have this since the moment they had leaves with "tips"

Going to google now thx :D

Temps seem ok. They look great! Maybe humidity issue which you're adjusting now. Good air circulation?

They do look great after all the mistakes i made that's for sure thx :D

For the air circulation i've had 2 (one in each corner, canopy height) and now recently lowered those 2 just under the canopy and added a 3rd one above the canopy, an oscilliating one.
They were all on max power (2), and recently all put on normal (1)
It was a bit like a storm in there lol, this is me just after opening the tent :D

The extractor was on 100% for a while, hoping to get the humidity down, but that didn't work so now it's back on 60/80%
I have no real clue what speed is good tbh, can't really find stuff like that online so i have to experiment..
It's a 680m³ extractor so maybe i do let it run way too fast, the tent is barely 2m³
If i set it lower the temps go above 27°c, which i think is not good, again not entirely sure..

Thx for your time.

TBH I love the serrated look of those leaves, but the only other thing I can think of besides RH% is pH issues or some sort of bug issue. I once had the very same problem and it was due to some kind of evil soil mite that was eating my roots. I solved this with Azasol and predatory mites. So maybe check your soil with a magnifying glass. If you start to see rapid leaf drop and rapid calcium/magnesium looking deficiencies out of nowhere, then I would be more concerned. If not, maybe it's just genetic.

I'm not really concerned since this is going on for as long as i can remember, i just would like to understand why they're doing this.

I do have some bugs in the coco, after some research a while ago i found out they were springtails and pretty much harmless if they stay under control, i only see them when watering to runoff..
Other than that i do daily checks of 2-3 leaves under microscope and never saw other bugs.

Thx for your time

Your plants look great. I wouldn't worry about a thing.

People think any slight issue is bugs these days. Not the case, your plants do not show signs of bugs from that pic.

Looks like it will be a nice harvest.

No doubts, beautiful plants.

Thx for the compliment, but it's also thx to people on this forum who helped me out a while ago, when they didn't look so healthy :thank you:
Check this one from 20 days ago:

For the bugs i'm 100% sure there are none but the springtails in the coco, i guess i'm lucky for that since i've done no prevention at all :woohoo:

Harvest will be mediocre at best but at this point i'm happy they even survived :D

What kind of lights and how far are they from canopy? Are you using purified water?

That pic looks a little heat stressed or iron deficient. This can be caused by high pH and overwatering. Tap water generally has a higher pH, so if you're using tap and waterlogged that would explain a lot. It would also explain a large population of springtails too, since they prefer moist soil, but don't worry I doubt you have bugs issues, yet lol.

I'm fairly convinced your problem is overwatering, which is very common when setting up a new grow even for experienced growers. Humidity can creep into spaces and corners and one pot might dry a little slower than another. Is it possible you've overwatered?

Light: Viparspectra 900w @ manufacturer recommended distance (40 cm)
Water: 50/50 Tap/RO which ends up @ 0.4ec
I started the grow with RO, and later found out that the nutes i chose were meant to use with tapwater..
I doubt overwatering was the case it's in Coco, i do have regular bad cheap pots, when the time came to buy them the $$$ was already gone, there's always some water not properly getting out by itself, i have to lift the pot and hold it in 45° angle for multiple minutes..
Next time air pots for sure :D
The springtails are no problem at all, i have like 5-10 in the runoff, nothing to worry about really :D
