desperately need advice Brassinolide woes

Hi everyone got a terrible unfortunate problem here long story and i will upload pics later on as they will possibly help. Well my brother had a pressure sprayer that he uses for his outdoor garden now it had previously contained a home made tea he uses the main ingredient of note is Brassinolide.

Now i washed out the sprayer and left a powerful bleach solution (mostly clorex) inside the sprayer for 24 hours just as a precaution, before rinsing that out and making my own foliar feed for my plants. The problem is somehow all i can ascertain is that the Brassinolide has seeped into the plastic bottle of the sprayer and somehow contaminated my foliar spray as my plants have had a tremendous reaction to the three feedings i have given them.

All plants were in 2 weeks of flower and have now grossly mutated stems have almost doubled in high and plants seem to stretch with every watering bud production has stopped??? and the leaves on each plant have increased by a factor of five lol.

Ive now got these plants that wont stop stretching dont appear to grow buds as im on week four of flower now and buds look like week two. Will they ever recover yield looks like itl be awful with all these leaves or should i cull these and start again, what would you do?

Not sure what the outcome will be. Continue to spray foliage with water to wash any remaining residue from Brassinolide. Foliar spray is somewhat systemic....give your grow medium some good doses of water only.

Trying to offset by using high phosphorus for bud production or other budding hormones/nutes are likely to 'confuse' what the hormones have already done in stretch.

Grow em out see what you get.

Ok as you can see the plants are overly leafy all leaves point straight upwards this is due to the spray as well and not a temperature problem, i had to do some slight manicuring and remove some burnt top buds as the plants again had reached the lights there all 5ft'ish now and rising but have not moved since there last feed it seems that they stretch with every feed.

If anyone else can comment on this and possibly comment on what yield is like on plants that have this much foliage id be grateful as im really wondering if i should cull and start again for now im gonna run with "aridbuds advice". These plants will possibly take around 10wks to finish now.

So what happened? Did they finish weird?

My sprayer has a reservoir that sucks from the tank and then gets pressurized. Is it possible you didn't run the cleaning solution through the sprayer wand?

Standard horticultural practice is that once any sprayer has been used for an herbicide, it should never be used for anything else again. It is impossible to get it all out, and they work in very trace amounts. Growth enhancers etc are classed as herbicides. Don't ever use that sprayer again for anything like foliars, insecticides, etc. Good luck. -granger
