Hey all was wondering if a few can help me out, I got these seeds(Alpha diesel,Chemdog double d, Double strawberry diesel) My seeds are a month and 6 days from germination, I fed plane water on a Tall boy filter( chlorine filter) Ph at 8! Put some in a tub and ph’ed it down to 6.5 started noticing this

Then progressed to this

then the rest of the plant, but definitely started on the big leafs fist! I transplanted them in a bigger pot hopping they would just grow into the new pot and mix and get over it, but it didn’t… So today I fed it 2tsp LK at 6.3 ph and still getting worse! By the way there in Ocean forest soil and roots organic soil.

I looked up the plant sick sticky and it seems to resemble zinc deficiency + ph problems?

Weedninja - Thanks for the link, I went through the short thread and found that I could foliar with 1/2 tsp Epsom salt? My only concern is that I’m in soil should I drench with Epsom salt? Or should I try to Ph my water to appropriate level first before adding any more Epsom? 6.3 - 6.5 in soil? I should of threw them in coco!

Barnt - Isn't 10ml/gal a little to much? it dose have N in it yeah? I just transplanted them a week ago... isn't there all ready N in the rich soil mix, and wouldn't adding more N in it add to my problems.

I apologize for the short answer...I was about to log off and I saw your thread.

It doesn't matter whether it's hydro or soil, foliar feeding is the quickest way to get nutes to your plants. The idea is to halt the deficiency as soon as possible and try to limit damage.

I would also add a small amount of Epsom salt to my water, every time I water. Add Epsom first, then pH BTW.

Hopefully, they are just mag hogs like Mj said and that will solve your problem. If you start to have problems with other strains in that setup, you may be locking mag out with your soil or too much calcium in your tap water.

They are 15 days into flower now i caught my problem early while they were in cups i was adding back to much ro water in my rez

The infected leaves are still noticable but all the new growth is fine they are stretching for the sky nice and green

I also use ocean forest and peace of mind amendments one of the biggest help to me is to add lime 2 tbs gallon

Another tip using ocean forest that helped me if your plants start to fade from top down at around the 3rd to 4th week in flower they are depleted on mag
