dense, dreamy, trippy ???

so i got some great ideas from the "search for trip weed" thread on some clean but heady sativas good for balance, yoga, dancing, art, etc.

BUT, i also love the type of high where i am pretty much sideways, twisted, out there, spaced, etc.; thick and heavy high, but NOT a couch lock indica...

what i mean: you know, like when you are so high that everything is completely new, alternate universe? eyesight takes everything in as an alien planet...

that dreamy, thick, dense high that is not in the background, but COMPLETELY sucks you in...

trippy, almost dissociative in nature.

any aceseeds sativa varieties that fit this? ive been eyeing panama

Panama was pretty clear for me but some say not. Zamaldelica has a reputation for that, but you most likely already know that one. I know of some but not ACE strains.

I just remembered, the Bodhi Acapulco Gold is sold by ACE so I can mention it here. From the small sample I smoked, this would serve you well imo. You might have already seen my posts on this.

I think I was just reading somebody's description of the Purple Haze as dreamy. Perhaps the Purple Haze Malawi that I've been eyeing. But I don't have any personal experience. sometimes my best description is just that I'm "pretty high"

All of the panamas I grew so far were more or less dreamy, with the red phenos being especially dreamy, dense and pretty narcotic for a sativa
(Although I also had a red phenotype which was still dreamy but also pretty clear, I think it was punto rojo dominate)
The green ones also have that dreamy element but a lot clearer and lighter, more functional

I've never grown Malawi but from reading its very dense and narcotic, but I've never read about dreamy

But panama really puts you in a dreamy state, more so than any other strain I've smoked so far

Zamaldelica , Malawi and Golden Tiger are the heavy hitters from all reports I read. The corsses that start with Malawi , for example Ltd edition Malawi X Panama sounds like the trippy type that you may be interested in , I am for sure and only noticed it after placing my order for the three above plus some Panama too.
The Ace website is the place to visit as on the pc version at least you can check strains and there is a selection if 19 yes 19 psychedelic strains they offer....
Absolutely brilliant selection and depending how patient in growing and curing you are the seeds for the experiences you seek are 100% going to be found in that list of 19 Ace offers.
Haze x KaliChina and Guawi also seem rather trip orientated. currently on ,my wishlist for the future . The Malawi X Pakistani Chitral Kush also offers a 4 hour trip in the realms of both indica and sativa with psychedelic experiences noted .

Yea I noticed this, and sativa's that turn purple can have a trippy/dreamy combo effect that is less anxiety inducing than green pheno's of the same strain.

Hi nepalnt21,

I think Malawi and its hybrids are the most suitable sativas for the type of high you are looking for: Golden Tiger, Zamaldelica, Malawi x Panama, Guawi or even Malawi x PCK.

I think everyone has pretty much covered your best bets already, but I just thought I would chime in with Nepalese Jam as possibility. All Nep Jams have a somewhat dreamy, spacey quality to them and although some are quite functional, I have run across at least one pheno that was a real head wrecker. It was strong, euphoric and disorientating, but didn't knock me out like an indica. My other Nep Jams were more or less just dreamy, a bit spacey and euphoric. Good uplifting weekend daytime smoke. I wouldn't call any of them clear like you get with some sativas, but they left me functional for daytime activities unlike that one pheno which was impossible to work on.

Depending on exactly what it is you are seeking there are probably some plants to be found in the Nep Jam line you might like if you are looking for strong spacey and dreamy qualities without the indica couch lock. If you like your herb to be of the more heart pounding, edgy and trippy variety than definitely go for Zamaldelica, particularly the super long flowering phenos.

From the strains Dubi listed, I like the sound of Malawi x Panama for the effect you describe, also Guawi.
I haven't grown them but have read alot about them, Guawi I think would be a bit clearer, but the S.American influence is usually a good choice for dreamy effects.

Also the dense/dreamy effect seems to be increased by being in the sun... Maybe its just the heat, or something to do with Vitamin D, but most stoners have a story about being wrecked on a hot summers day haha.
