Dense clusters of curled up leafs

These are under LED, and the power is down to about 350 umols. The leafs are still acting like they hate light. Is the light possibly to close at 18"-24"? What else could be doing this?

<< this one ain't much better.

Note: The ambient CO2 is about 600 in the room and tents, because of the dawgs and I in the house.

The new growth is looking a bit better.

It could be those older leaves got a bit sunburned and are now stunted.

When I transition from veg-under t5s to LED for flower I keep the light intensity down, ramp up the feed some and boost the humidity. That usually keeps them happy. Give it a couple days of nice warm temps and boosted humidity. They will come around. :watchplant:

Those two misfits have been in that tent a couple weeks. I'm thinking of a re-pot and changing the soil. Those two really have no future anyways, besides going outside somewhere. The thing is, other plants on a SWICK are doing the same thing. I would just like to know what is wrong so I don't do it net time. The midgets are slow slow slow, but not acting stooopit like these misfits. I'll give them to a buddy when his 2x4 tent is ready.

Isn't curled up leaves heat??? I have opposite problem. My light intensity is only about 700 umols and buds foxtailed. Can not figure out why, growing GG4 so not genetics.

For heat issues, buy a bunch of cheap thermometers with probes from china on e-bay, and a bunch of lr44 batteries. Use a fan across top of buds, and exhaust as high as possible. I use Vero 29 Gen 7's, so I mount the drivers outside the tent which helps a lot.

Are your LED's the purple ones, or the new ones with hundreds of tiny led's?

If not heat from lights, do you think you could have been infected with mites??? I lost a full grow, had to move to other side of basement and start over. Heard of people that keep getting them back. I needed a USB microscope and a lot of scanning of bad leaves to find them. F-ing broad mites.

Raising the lights is helping. I have 3 hurricane fans in that tent. I have the light over 2' above the plants now, and pretty low umoles. In the big tent, I have also raised the light a lot. Live and learn.

Higher light has to burn hotter to get the umoles to the leafs. Tht heats up the moist air, and makes the tent hotter. So you run more air through the tent and humidity drops. wet tee shirts on the wall without all the electrical stuff is helping a lot keep 75* and 50%.

I do not have the small scale optics, yet. I also want one of Aspen OU812's foggers in case I get bugs.

I transplanted the worst misfit, and the soil in the bag was dry. Nice and moist on top where the mulch and cover plants are. No roots, except maybe some from the cover clover. I have the plant in one of these now, and got the soil nice and wet, and re-innoculated it. The Blumat reading over 50 is dry to me now, and I like 40 better. The others in the little tent got a good watering and re-innoculation also.
