LOL. 30 dollars in tips and 9 bucks an hour. That wouldn't get me to sit up in bed, let alone get out of bed. But if it floats your boat, hey, have at it.

lol yeah if you are a student and living at home it's okay money but if you are living on your own 2400 bucks a month delivering pizza won't be a lot of money.

you pay rent, car insurance, buy clothing, food, go out, buy weed, furniture, phone bills, cable, internet etc etc and it all adds up fast.

if you like driving a geo metro and living in a shitty apartment with furniture you found on the street then this is a great job for you lol.

I personally have bigger dreams than 30 bucks in tips.

actually my goal in life right now is to get rich so I can buy a lamborghini countach lol.

one day I'll own that car.

30 bucks is pretty bad. A good night for me could be over 150 easy. That doesn't include $ for mileage or what ever I was getting paid hourly. That wasn't every night but fri, sat and nights when there was something like monday night football going on.

Sort of related to the subject at hand, but not really... I will never understand why in the past few years, people around here have been delivering pizzas in a full sized SUV (Suburbans, Yukons, etc).. I mean... does that make sense to anyone else?

I did deliveries when I was 17 and back then I was working at this el-cheapo shitty pizza place, the guy didn't even know how to make a proper pizza.

anyways, all the people who bought this shitty pizza were just poor people and I rarely got tips

It means they must not pay for their own gas

that or they have a small delivery range.

around here a 4x4 is necessary to get to 95% of all driveways and pizza places do deliver.

the ones around here make about $15 an hour plus tips...and this is rich folk country, so.... they get tipped well....

they dont make enuff for me to make a career change, but I would if I had too.

the GMC yukon is a nice rig....gas guzzler 4-sho.

...I'd get a subaru brat w/ a lift kit and sum big ass oversized studded mud tires if I was gonna deliver pizza around here.

Lol, whatever you need to feel better about yourself, BrainLESS. Mom and Dad passed about 11 years ago :(

I've been thinking about getting back into pizza delivery, but not with my own car as I suck at car maintenance/fixing. Some Cal's have company trucks, but they're big and probably manual.

To add to the consensus, I averaged $60-70 a night in tips, with min wage and 75 cents per delivery for gas reimbursement. That was at Pizza Hut about 3 years ago, but delivering to the ghetto really brings down your average.

And as I always do in pizza delivery threads, I recommend you keep a blacklist of asshole customers, so if they're stupid enough to order from you again you can, uh, do stuff to ther pizza. Treating a service provider like crap when they're too lazy to pick up their own food is inexcusable in my book.

yo i want to deliver pizzas but i have like 4 or 5 tickets in the last year... do you think i can manufacture some kind of fake driving record?

14 dollars an hour sounds pretty good to me. On campus jobs pay usually 7 or 7.50 per hour. And I can't get baked n' work there. :)
