Deleting account option?

I just noticed there is a delete account option in the IC section at the bottom.

Does anyone know if this option will remove all the users posts?

and in fact the delete account function seems not to work (as per another post in this section, please delete my account).

personally I think there SHOULD be a function whereby if someone was being raided they could delete their account and all photos and posts immediately... just seems sensible to me
