dehydrators for finishing bud

Cause faster is better right? What is wrong with the world. Do you do all your cooking in the microwave as well. Faster will never be better. Don't you want some flavor in your product.
Having just finished a harvest myself, I recommend vacuum sealing mason jars after letting them hang for about 6 days or so (but I don't know your humidity or temp levels or strains for that matter).
Much as it sucks, patience is the only way (without cash, lab equipment, and time).

Slower the better in my experience it's takes a while to grow so what's a two week wait while it dries,
But I think we are all guilty of taking a few buds early and quick drying to see what the smoke is like

My understanding is that curing breaks down some undesirable compounds that make smoke taste shitty. For these to break down requires time.
3 months to grow it and 12 hours to fuck it up in a dehydrator ? no thanks!

Don't vacuum seal until your product has at least a 2-3 month cure. You do want your product to cure.
I have in emergency. product was ok. mine had option of no heat so it was ok. not the way to go unless last resort
Ok, so dehydrators bad. Check. Do you cure your bud in mason jars, just like screwed hand tight, or half way, or what?
2-3 months seems like a long time to wait for a cure, I mean, I might put some of it away that long, just to see, but the rest of it? As soon as the moisture content drops to a point of being readily combustible, that shits going up in flames!

If your bud gets moldy put it in the dehydrator. If you gotta get out of your drying space like tomorrow, use dehydrator. Slow cure is the way to go. Those humidity packs can help make the drying process easier. I hang dry 4-7 days then jar up with the packs. Perfectly cured at 14 days.
Why do you grow?
Don't smoke use or pass along moldy weed.
I used to think the same thing until I forgot about 8 or 10 oz of Sour Diesel that I had in a 2 Gallon Ball Mason Jar. I had plenty of bud at the time and the Sour sat in the big jar for 6 months. When I opened the jar and smoked it, it was so obvious that the long cure made the product much better.
I have just been curing a whole crop from 6 weeks ago and you can start to taste the flavors coming out. It still needs at least a couple more weeks. When you learn how to dry and cure properly, you will have a much better product. Smoking buds that have been curing and drying for a couple of weeks is not even close to smoking it after a long cure. You should try it out and see for yourself.
It really comes down to the fact that you will still produce X amount in Y time overall. If you must, speed dry your first crop, then keep enough back to wait on the cure for the next crop. After you've waited once you will still have the same amount of output every crop, but since you've waited, you will be pulling the cured stuff out every time now.
