If a dehumidifier is in the grow room and the grow room air is constantly being replaced, then how does the dehumidifier help? Humid air from outside the grow room is constantly being pulled into the room and expelled out the exhaust. How does the dehumidifier able to do it's job under these conditions? wouldn't it be better to put the dehumidifier outside the room and dry the air that is being pulled into the grow room?

Well a dehumidier can be of help getting your plants to dry out.If it was pulling in real humid air it would make it harder for it to do its work.
i would pull the air from a room in your house that has a good humidity that shoud bring down the humidity some what and the dehumidifier can do its job with ease ..
