deformed leaves and other Q's

hey guys a couple of questions this plant is really pretty healthy ph runoff is 6.2 its been slightly overfed a couple days ago with tiger bloom/bigbloom. i have 7 clones same size though this is from seed it is white widow and im wondering why i have deformed leaves up top look closely at the overhead pic. it is under a 400watt hps about 10 inches from bulb. none of my clones exhibit this deformation. also it is only at the top of the main cola. this plant is also flowering stronger than all my clones. also im wondering if it is normal to have your lower large fan leaves shrivel and fall off slowly at about 4 weeks flower.also this plant and some others show a slight tendency to form a slight umbrella shape on the leaves.

You may have a slight calcium/magnesium issue. Great looking plants overall. Your pal, Sprout

Torn edges of top leaves = calcium trouble

Yellowing between the veins with veins green of bottom leaves = mag trouble

Where do you see a slight calicum/magnesium? considering the fact he is 4 weeks into flower dont you think the yellowing at the bottom is just the plant using up its stored nitrogen?

Firsttimegrower, I think I see some nute burn at the top and on some tips. I think the umbrella shape maybe from over feeding. Flush the plant if you havent all ready. And yess it is normal for the plants large fan leaves to yellow and fall back but not at a fast pace. Since its white widow and they go for what 9 weeks? it maybe a little early for this to happen. Not really sure white widow growers were are you? But you need to flush for a few days then return to feeding IMO. The plant overall looks :yummy: so good job bro.

yes i did flush it after the nute burn or more like dilluted it by runnin a gallon of just water through. what does calcium trouble mean too much or too little? also on another note i have all my plants 8 in 2 gallon bags all plants are between 26 and 34 inches and dont seem to be rootbound. but the question is i have a plant i lst'd a little too long due to lack of space which will be resolved as soon as i chop my five 4 footers. now this lstd plant is 10 inches tall and about an 18x18 bush with like 30 tops ive been watering/feeding by putting the plant in a bucket and letting it suck it up. can i let this plant flower like this or must i transplant. ( not much soil left )any help appreciated thank you very much

I may be but, There is some tip burn on some leaves. The deformed leaves at the top might be from a ph issue. Sproutco nice edit, I think your a little wrong and a little right here. With ganja a real Calcium def will show it self as rust spots. Pretty much like the pics on this sight show you. I know this not from pictures but from my own experience. There maybe a slight mag def causing the early yellowing Im not a 100% sure on that though.

Sproutco, heres one for ya :moon:

yellowing new growth with a slight bend to me indicated zinc, with a PH of 6.2...well that's in the range for a soilless mix but in soil that's a bit too low, I'd say try to get to 6.8-7 and then flush the soil. Tone down the nute mix a touch and be sure to get the plants some micros.

As do I but little sproutco says Im wrong. I almost thought I was seeing shit.

Ah zinc def's didnt come to mind. You should bring up the ph and listen to chaoticEntity.

alright not to argue but it feels like wherever i ask about ideal ph i get a ton of different answers my mother plants ran a ph of 7.0 and had serious issues i lost half the leaves on my plants. shriveled up black fell apart. so i asked around and heard between 6 and 6.5 was great for soil now my plants are better than they were but im still confused. i use fox farm BB TB which should have the right micros ( i think ) if not i have a bottle of cal mag plus but have not been using due to im using tap that is a little hard. i know sproutco is disliked by some on here but not me at least. he gave me correct info the 2 times i asked and probably helped me salvage the mothers im about to chop tomorrow here are some pics. but anyways 6.7 is better i will try on a couple of my clones and see what happens also any ideas on my lstd plant can i keep it in a 2 gal pot even though it is 18x18x10 inches tall and just pour nutes and water in a bucket and let it drink thanks again for the help guys

Imo when you admit to overdosing with tiger bloom and big bloom [ both sources with plenty of calcium and magnesium.] And to be using hard water Im pretty sure the last thing you are experiencing is calcium or magnesium issues. Dont worry though, judging by your pics its clear to see you already grow better than sproutco.

Verite, I needed you here when little sprotie tried to tell me I was wrong that there was no calcium issue and no mag issues either. Glad to see someone other than sproutWRONG is tring to help people. rep for you man!

From the looks of that plant it can not be “fixed”. I am surprised that nobody has suggested plant stress and root bound. Check the roots just in case. Besides the over fertilization. I cannot see the containers but root problems come to mind.

if the roots arent going to the bottom of the pot it may be from lack of air.....make sure there are plenty of air holes ....not just the 4 on the bottom of the pot.......
