defiency issues . need help again !

My plants are in second day of flowering under a SV light . I noticed the growing shoots looking lime green to yellow and as you look towards the end of the leave they green up.. Im might be thinking my ph is off. Not sure. Im using soiless sunshinemix #4 witha ph 6.3( per instruction fromadvanced nutes) my nutes are at 900ppm. .any ideas on what i should do , flush and change ph ? if so what do you think my ph should be , some have told me to set it between 5.5 and 6.0 sweet spot around 5.8....

Funny thing is i did not se this under the metal halide light , 2 dys after they are under teh 1000 watt SV i started seeing this , maybe its my eyes but i think it is a nute issue

please help

Thanks

Possible sulpher deficiency, you could add some epsom, max 1/2 teaspoon/gallon. You should see deeper green within a few days. I add epsom at 1/4 teaspoon/gallon as a normal routine.

I had the same symptoms on two plants and they recovered nicely with the epsom added.

any chance of lockout due to maybe my ph is wrong? im at 6.3 with sunshine mix #4 using advanced nutes
Using soil, a PH of 6.3 is probably the minimum you want to go. I've read in the books that 6.8 is optimim for soil. My defiencies have always been lockout due to improper PH, before I got a good PH pen. Also depending on your nutes, the order in which they are mixed can cause lockout. Personally I would try for a little closer to 6.8.

I want to take a picture of plants but i cant figure out how to put them on this forum . can some one guide me on how to post pictures ?

so soil less is consider soil right,

No... soil-less, depending on what it's made of, can act anywhere between straight hydro and soil. Peat based mixes should be used around 6.1-6.3 depending. The more soil-like stuff you add to peat, the more it acts like soil.

Perlite and vermiculite are soil-less and they are inert. Feed them like pure hydro... 5.8.

Stay Safe! :tiphat:

so being sunshine mix #4 has not nute value should i treat it like soil or hydro ? . Im getting alot of people saying both to set ph at 5.8,6.0,6.3 and 6.8. so i see some issues on my plants and im thinking its due to wrong ph, im setting it at 6.3 and my shoots are getting lime green and some of the leaves are turning towards the right or left.. I think maybe a zinc ,iron and maganese issue . i read it happens more often due to high ph. and to lower ph . so im confised on what direction i need to go . i flushed today with a ph of 5.8 it might be low but im grasping at straws on what to do for my ph ...again !

Thank you

If your mix is soil less then you treat it like hydro. I used pro mix bx which is about the same as your mix. I had best results with 5.8 . Here is a little chart that was passed on to me when I had PH issues a few years back.
