Deficiency mid flower

I'm trying to help a friend out with his autoflowers. They are about 4-5 weeks in flower and have deficiency pictured below.

He is using miracle grow tomato food for flowering (18-18-21) with tap water. Limited budget.

I don't think it is a def. looks FRIED to me, with a wacked/too low PH/salty with the limited info you have given. The MG, while cheap in the short run, can be blamed for this. Also tap water is ok but try and bubble it or at least let it sit for 24 hours before watering.

BTW what is your PH runoff?

Yeah hes been fert'ing with every water so I told him to flush the next couple of times and see what happens. No PH tester so can't answer that question.

Medium is soil, MG Organic to be exact. Not the best I know, but he's just trying to get some smoke.

Hopefully the flushing will turn them around before harvest time.
