looks to me like iron.
you can foliar spray with cal/mag that has iron in it.
also do you check you PH often? it could be shifting around.

peace!

I do check every other day. Drifts from yellow to dark green. I forgot to mention i use softened water. Not sure if that makes a difference.

yes it does, because you softener is removing the mag and iron out of the water.
if you can, tap your water before the softener that way it will have the minerals in it.

water softeners don't add salt to the water and if they did you would taste it.
the salt is only there to clean the filtering balls off in the machine, then the salty water is dumped to waste.

that's a myth about the salt in your drinking water...

peace!

Hey Mystic,I could tap the system before the softener except its in the basement and the garden is in a room on the second story. I would have to lug gallons up 2 flights of stairs. I will do it if its necessary. You had mentioned calmag foliar spray. Could i just use calmag in my nutrient solution? Or should i use the spray method? Thanks for the help!

yes you can just add it back to your nutrient solution, I was just saying to foliar spray to get quick results and green them up.

or you could get a long garden hose and run it upstairs when you need it.

Thanks Mystic! I will try the foliar for quick green and just add calmag to the regular feed schedule. Might try the garden hose idea as well.

Thanks again.

New deficiencies maybe same as before. I wasnt able to tend to the garden to much the last few day because of family over for the holidays just a quick top off with plain tap water. Leaves seem to be curling up and browning. Just refreshed the reservoir with GH 3 part and CALiMAGic. Ph'd with GH ph kit liquid is piss yellow.

if you can do a soil sample reading you could get the PH of the soil ... Im guessing a PH drop is locking out nutes
