Not 100% sure what is from, thinking overwater or lack of o2 to root. Or calcium. Not effecting all plants. Just added airstones to system, new growth still not sure, but is much greener. These where some neglected clones before they went in. Suffered from nute lock due to high ph. Some clones where taken 2 weeks into flower, so basically some are re-vegged clones. They were gifted, please do not yell ate me :pointlaug :

Important to know is these signs where not here prior to adding to system, been about 7 days in system, first 4 without airstones and @ 400ppm

In hydro bio/dwc, ph to 5.4, drifts slowly to 6.3. and ph again. Every 24 hrs. temp 67- 68 deg f. PBP nutes, 3mil per gallon of EJ micro. 520 true ppm, 600ppm with tap water. But just started using a RO filter for auto addback.

Roots finally taking hold, new root growth is bright fuzzy & white. yay me.

also I believe this plant is an Early Pearl.

Any help greatly appreciated, I believe the new growth is fine, but incase it is not.

Thanks for any input, wish my camera was better. 3rd pick down is probably easiest to pin point.

Pbp nutes need cal mag plus or another calcium and magnesium suppliment to be complete. Which pbp nutes are you using? Pbp grow? Pbp bloom for soil or hydro? How many ml per gallon are you using? I doubt you will end up needing the ej micro if you add cal mag plus because it also has micros. Pbp probably has enough anyway. Strangely looks like magnesium deficiency. Maybe some other more experienced guys have some input.

Heres a real good scan of a leaf. This leaf has abnormal ripples on it, almost like spinach leafs. these spots start off as pin size, and get larger, mainly only fan leaf effecting, but it is to effecting some of the lighter green or yellowing leaves.

Hummmm

Sproutco/Blackvelvet, you certainly don't know how to lay low, do you?

Berry, well yes they could be "eating themselves" as they are in the process of rooting. They have grown some, new growth is hard to tell, but it looks like it may be still spreading, some have it, some dont.

Just cut back on some of the nutes, drained 20gals, and added 20 ro back.

We'll see..

Powdergreen: just did a change. lowered the ppm to 400. Also did a change out do to my ph was swinging to 6.6, within 12 hours.to quick. Also figuired out with the help of others from a dif site that these spots usually occur from ph swings, or to low of a ph (sometimes strain specific). small brown pin spots, then get larger, thenthe leaf yellows probally due to ph lockout.

It effected only 1 of my 2 strains in the system, early pearl. The other strain (early girl X haze) was and is fine.

So berry, is your ph a roller-coaster? See if this could apply to you.

So i cleaned liners real quick, added tapwater & ro back, ph'd to 5.4, added some h202 to ween off any bacterias, set to 400ppm. An now just watching. I also decide with advice not to ph so low next time because of the clones current situation of Hope to be past PH swings. Next time only to 5.8 i will go. 5.8 only because of the stress they received in the past days, i will lower 5.6 in a few days if things progress ++.

Atleast so far in this def, growth has continued to improve.

Hoping this will clear up. Just waiting.

Morel of this story i believe so-far: I was ph'ing to 5.4, which was fine when the swing was slower. But when the ph swing up got faster, I should have not ph'd that low. Because the swing from 5.4 to 6.6 in 12 hours is NOT GOOD to most plants. a 12 point ph swing is no good in a short amount of time.

So hopefully the swing wont come so quick this time, if and when i notice it speeding up, i will not drop my ph so much. When my ph swing starts hitting 6.6 on its own, i will do a water change, and start the cycle over again.

When i do PH, I will slowly lower over like an hour, not all at once. All at once is stressful as well.

thanks for everyones help. Much appreciated.

Any thoughts on my " ph spotting lesson" ( atleast i hope it fixed)

Stealth: the plants stem is actually about 1/2 above the water line, they sit almost in there like a little island. there is no media placed in there other then the lava to help keep the stems from staying wet. They where placed in there bare rooted.

there is little lava because i had problems before in the past with poor circulation in and out of the lava leading to rot, so i am trying this way, sofar the only neg effect i am seeing is they dont have super support. but i am hoping the roots soon can mend to the net pot and take care of that.

trying out a few ideas.
