Looks like a slight calcium issue to me. I've always had to add calmag with my foxfarm nutes otherwise I would run into a def. Right now it seems like I have something new that I haven't experienced (I think I overferted them).

Can you get some better pictures of the problem, but make sure the HPS is not on, otherwise it ends up hiding the problem.

The first picture you posted, are the tops leaves yellow or was that just from the picture being taken?

Hey Stitch,

I appreciate you helping out. Heres a pic with lights off. I see some general yellowing starting to creep in, and the one plant that has spots they are more often towards the edges then not but very sparatic and not that many, I'm just trying to nab it before it becomes something serious. I just got some calmag, PH up and PH down, I think the calmag is needed badly

I see a nitrogen problem from the pic you posted, can you get a picture of the spotting?
What nutrients are you using how much and how often?
What pH pen did you get? is it calbrated?

Hey Stitch,
Here's full pics, including the feeding schedule which is current as of right now. My pH pen is a cheap $10 rapidtest thing. If there was a very accurate one for around $70 I'd pick it up tomorrow. Not calbrated.

dude... they don't look bad. A little N as Stitch said. And maybe a lil Mg starting. Otherwise... looking ok.

Your plant is in the transitional stage from grow to flower, during this period the plant will be using both the grow nutes and the bloom nutes. Your a little light on the grow nute part but thats an easy one to fix, get yourself some microgrow nutes and add about 5ml or what the directions say on the bottle. Just remember that what microgrow nutes you add that you have to subtract that amount from your bloom nute side. Since your in soil you should see an improvement in about 2-3 days. Keep an eye on the Cal/Mag during this stage also, your plant will be using alot of those nutes now.

Get rid of that tester dude, it's cheap as shit, they don't work and always tell you your pH is around that. Hydro stores carry nice ones and if you want to add in another 20 bucks you can get a better probe to put on the pen, and get some calbrating solution. Or you can get one touch calbration.

But ya, everyone here is on track, I would add some nitrogen as it does not look there is a pH problem right now.... cal mag and nitrogen.

Hey guys,

thanks for the help. I guess i'm being a little paranoid, but if you look at my gallery you can see what happened to my last batch so I didnt want trouble this time around.

will update with more pics in a day or so.

Can you reccomend a specific ph tester to get that I could order/find online? I was hoping to spend no more then $70 but am open to suggestions I want to get one that will work for a long time obviously.

Thanks.

Here's some updated pictures. The yellowing is still going although tonight will be the first time I basically double the Veg food for the added N.

Give it some time, I would not have given it a boles dose like that, but I would not give it any more nitrogen depending on the dosage you used and what you used to feed it.
What brand of nute did you use and how much?

Fox Farm Neuts. The feeding chart is current and shows amounts above^ but for tonight I just cut the bloom food in half and doubled the veg food.

I never said nothing was wrong, I said the problem you have is a nitrogen deficiency, feeding nitrogen will fix the problem.

hey Stitch,

Is using the FF Grow Big Veg Food (6-4-4) double what the bottle says going to do the trick? Or do I need to go buy something?

So far theres only been one feeding since the problem, and i cut the bloom food in half and effectively trippled the veg food because of the N level in it

The affected leaves will not recover, they will stay that way, you just want to make sure it's not spreading, do not stop the bloom dosage, keep it to the level you had it before this.
Do not use that much veg, it takes time, giving it one big dose like that can cause problems, so don't do it again.

Use 1/2 the amount you used in veg when you feed them.
Next time you feed, just use the bloom ferts and the time after that give them 1/2 the dosage of veg ferts with your bloom ferts.

You want to use it up until 2 weeks before you harvest. If you were 2 or 3 weeks farther into flowering, your plants yellowing would be completely natural and giving them veg ferts should not be recommended at that point, because you want them to used the stored nutrients in there leaves to help with the final flush to ensure most nutrients are out of the plant.

Thanks for the help.

Just to clarify. Your saying on the next feeding (day after tomorrow) you want me to ONLY use Bloom ferts and nothing else? Or your saying just don't use the veg?

And from then on your saying go back to the normal dose of veg and continue using the veg up until two weeks before harvest?

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.
