Hi, 10 days ago i planted outdoor 8 plants and deers ate leaves of 4 plants and dug one out and i couldnt find 1. So i am going to buy NEO ARBIN, has anyone used this product here, does it work?

At the rate things are going, you will have zero plants in a week.

Another option is to find places that are too overgrown for the deer to get into.

That's different for different pieces of land. In my case it's areas with baby madrone.

If you have to twist & bend like a yoga yogi to get in there, and get sticks in the eye & ear in the process, it's PROBABLY no fun for the deer either.

Of course that won't stop the rodents.

I've been using wire mesh. In some areas, wire mesh with no bottom, where I had about a 25% loss.

In other areas, I put wire mesh on the bottom, so the roots grow through the mesh.

Bit of a trade-off - I lose some stealth with the wire mesh.

I put up a chain link fence and use liquid fence brand granular repellent.

A small campfire has a strong smell and repels. Its good to have multiple repellents and rotate them, but the liquid fence works great!

I had little varments that snuck through the fence that cut plants last year, I guess I need to get chicken wire, and even then it may not work. The animals do what they want. Plant higher numbers of seed! About to plant the 2nd string of plants this evening!

Guys last yr I bought the deer and rabbit repellent and Walmart....first bought the small spray bottle and like it and grabbed a gallon it worked so good. But i warn you this shit stinks to another level, but you don't have to worry about deer because there deer everywhere here and I didn't lose a plant to deer outta 50-75 plants. Another thing guys swear by is the pour some pee near your plants. I'm talking 8-10ft away im not saying pour urine on them, just when you visit your site take some urine. But that stuff your Wal-Mart is great, it even did good in extreme rains.

This stuff works and smell freaking bad so be warned.

Rotten Egg Spray

Eggs contain sulfur compounds, and when they decompose, they release a putrid gas
called hydrogen sulfide. The smell is worse than a bad case of morning breath and will
send deer far away from your yard. Ingredients:

3 raw eggs
3 cloves of garlic (you can add more if you want)
3 cups of water
3 tablespoons of milk
3 tablespoons cayenne pepper

Instructions:

Blend the eggs, garlic, milk, cayenne pepper, and water in a blender.
Pour into a container with a lid, and let it sit outside for several days to ferment.
Strain the mixture into a spray bottle, and spray on plants and on the perimeters
of your yard or garden. Please save any remaining repellent in a jar, and wash out
the bottle after each use because the nozzle will get clogged if not washed properly.

not all deer are repelled by urine. they can, however, tell by aroma if feces were from meat eaters or vegetarians. if you have a zoo in the area, a bucket full of tiger, lion etc crap will scare off anything this side of T-Rex...

If you can get away with it. Even the smallest smoke fire for 5 minutes or longer will scare
most animals away for a while. More so if you make one each time you go out. Do be very
careful if you try this and make sure to put out the fire before leaving. It will also help you
deal with bugs attacking you if you stand downwind in the smoke for a few seconds. :)
