I take in rescue pits. Some for life others until they can be adopted out. I can only imagine how awfull it would be to lose one in such a manner.

I hope the cowardly hit and run driver that brought all this pain into your life is either caught or has many years of personal grief for this poltroonish act.

I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your friend and protector, hurricanefaniam. I hope the sadness lessens for you quickly.

I have pics on the various walls of all of my departed canine buddies. It doesn't hurt to look at them; I smile when I study them now. They were the best friends I've ever known.
