After a very long break from growing, my Deep Congo project is back.

I started early this year.. a fact which has resulted in a lot of stretch... in some types.

I have quite a few types in this f2 batch, all of which will come to show over the summer..

I'm doing a controlled indoor/outdoor thing this year. indoor for 12/12 and outdoor summer sun for max PAR

this enables me to control flowering in summer.. we like

I seem to a have lot of sativa types in early growth there was clear signs of DC.. but the girls have become a lot more sativa like later on.. at least leaf wise



This girl grew very fast, and quickly started asymetric growth quickly after showing pre-flowers. She basically started flowering from day 1 of 12/12





she was started on 12/12 2012.6.1

Damn the girls are loving the weather today

I have 2 girls in full flower atm and 1 just starting out.

the one just starting im most excited about.. she is a comming along very nicely, she was topped, and has produced a fine looking plant, growth very dense (true to her indica grandfather )

pics of the 2nd girl in full-bloom will come later today

besides these three, i have seven more girls, that are just enjoying the sunshine and growing bigger

this is my first time growing a f2 crop, and i'm constantly amazed by the huge variety, even though all plants are grown from seeds from one mother plant (Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of this one). but i guess thats why im getting mainly nice sativa phenoes RW

Before i post pictures of lady number 2.

i have 2 let u guys/gals meet her :

1. She's into s&m..

2. She has huge pistils..

3. atm i watching her grow some hard firm nuggets

4. she might have some cross-dressing traits

Ok Translation :

1 :
This is by far one of most the most lanky/quick plant i've grown (my fault, window ledge, planted 03.01.2012) but she was topped to stop her vertical growth, and new shoots forced to behave
She didn't mind.. I've ended up with 2 tops, that have promoted bud sites all along the now horizontal top shoots

2 :
This girl's flowering is showing clear middle eastern traits
the pistils have 3x the volume of Girl 1

3 :
Setting her non optimal childhood aside, she's well on the the way to produce some rock-hard nuggets, top shoots is beginning to endure troubles holding their own weight

4 :

OMG what a crap day (but i created my own silver lining)

.... on my way to work, the back tire of my bike blew out...
so i had to walk the last 4 km..

Then just after lunch i stepped on a board with a rusty nail in it.
The nail went straight through my shoe and into my right foot, pain....

So naturally i start thinking, when did i last get a tetanus (stivkrampe) shot.
it must have been at least 10 years ago.. so i'm borderline..

Got bike fixed and drove the 10km home..

Foot starting to ache more and more ....

with no other pain release/smoke in the house.. i decided to cut a bud from female no. 1. she is on week 5 on 12/12 and still a good couple of weeks from finishing..

gave the bud 1½ hours in a ventilated oven at 150F 65C (don't go above 200F 93C or THC will vaporize).

grinded semi-dry bud up with half a cig and rolled a jay...

i have smoked half while writing this and the pain in my foot has subsided, while i have a huge grin on my face

The smoking experience is of course impaired due to the fact that the bud still contains full chlorophyll and some nutrients, and the cannabinoids are still forming...

I get a clear citrus node from this atm, and WOW i can't wait for the ripe deal...

I got hit right away... a soft gentle transition from from a crappy day to a distant concern as to which i might have tetanus..

I'm as high now, as i was last week, when I smoked some very good maroccan kashmir,but without the couch lock

I have 47 beans left from the mother im running atm..

and then the problem is this: i have 3 seed jars, two are my outdoor mix and one is seeds from the girl in my last series, and the labels have come off . and without a grow i can't tell them a part hehe..

resend me your addy, and i will get some of the identified beans your way

I understand how life can be...i didnt come here to claim beans..you can keep those. Just wanted to let you know that you most likely have some pm´ing to do to some noided out members who got left standing in the rain. Its a little uncool to just come back pretending shit didnt happen. Im sure you didnt intend to scare ppl but its pretty obvious that most likely, im not the only one who wondered about u. Yo back to you GDK..

I'm having a lot of trouble relating to the term *noided*. I can only believe it's short for paraniod, and maybe i just don't have a gene for that state of mind.

I know i might have disappointed you guys, when the promised beans failed to show combined with my quick exit and lack of updates.

But to elevate that mood beyond disappointment into "noid" mode is beyond me.

Did u really think, that the "government" would have grown a plant this special just to entice you guys to give your 411's ?

In hindsight you are right, in that i might have started with a apology, but i was just super thrilled to be back in the game, and i had a pretty girl to show..

Lets get back to the important stuff now .. The plants

I'm testing ripeness the fun way, i pick one bud from a lower branch each day and quick dry ... then test

A quick mix for the water pibe.. a oven dried bud from girl no.1 + ½ a cig. this will last me all day.

The high has clearly changed over the last week...

I started with a 30min-1hour lasting very inspiring energetic high..

Today it still has those same notes, but the effect now last 1-2 hours and the "hit" is a lot harder
