DEEP CHUNK & PETROLIA HEADSTASH ??

Im so interested in these 2 strains, has anyone grown both by chance, they seem so similar and both reported to be pre-soviet invasion indicas by way of cali from what ive read. I just wonder if there kin or maybe even the same genectics ?

no. I've grown DC though. top notch weed truly.

If I had to bet though I'd say petrolia is probably stronger.

i can absolutly tell you that DC is not petrolia headstash, as there was a rumor flyin aound some time back that they were the same. TomHill informed me that they are not related.

funny how the DC was 100+ a pack back when that rumor started goin around, then boom petrolia headstash price at Reefs went through the roof. back door marketin

hey motaco, ive grown quite a few indicas, and not one comes close to the DC, havent done PH, but it was nothin back when prairieBoy was tryin to move um on Cbay, hell they were like 40 a pack and not to many takers.

pics i seen look much more like the PTK then they do DC.

the problem with PH is there is next to nothing for grow reports or smoke reports online, if any at all.

I have only ever seen 1 budshot, and the picture was mediocre at best. If RM is going to leave PH at that price point he better get some testers out to some reputable growers.

$200 for an unproven strain is ridiculous IMHO. I could see $200 if it was some super rare, well proven landrace, but if they couldn't move them at $40 they can't be either well proven or rare.

$40 a pack is worth the gamble, $200 certainly is not.

I've found the DC to be the best indica I have tried, it's just a blissful, perfect, and strong indica stone. Oh, and the taste is superb (for my likes).

hmmn didn't know that. the deep chunk I love but it takes a ton of it to get stoned. and its so damn leafy that if you actually weigh out what your plannin on tokin its like 2x as much as regular a'dam hashplants. not that a'dam hashplants even come close to the sophistication of DC. but they are more potent IMHO.


I wish I coulda got better pics before I smoked all my DC. might have to take better pics of a friends jar.

Reeferman has 2 versions of the Petrolia Headstash...

Petrolia Headstash Pure: The inbreed line. It is more expensive due to the true breeding properties. This strain is a breeding tool and should be used as such. Only if you are breeding, should you spend the money on this strain.

Petrolia Headstash 2: PH crossed with, if I remember correctly, Highland Afghani IBL. This cross has strong hybrid vigor that produces potent, chunky Afghani nuggets. If you are looking for dank smoke or a mother plant, buy this version. It was much cheaper...

You guys probably are looking at the two different PH versions, when you say the price jumped from $40 to $200. You can find grow/smoke reports on his PH at the RMS site.

As far as I can remember, PH has always been $200 through RM(that's the pure one). PH is also the mother of Herijuana, btw. It is meant for breeding purposes, however that should not put one off from growing it. Growth will be slower and less impressive than some of the newer strains, but the potency will be there.

The PH is also in the Nutcruncher (PH x G13) and the Gypsy Kiss (PH x White Widow).

Both strains come highly acclaimed. So the PH does have a proven track record.

I really wasn't trying to deter anyone from growing the PH Pure. I was just trying to express that if it's too expensive, there are cheaper alternatives.

That Heri is a cross of the indy pheno and the sat pheno of a humbolt county indica.
Either way it will knowck your ass out at night.
