Deciding whether or not to grow?

So here is my situation. My house caught fire back in June un-related to my grow operation and the fireman found my babies! My entire second story burned except my C13 grow cab, WHAT LUCK! I loved growing and now my rehab/probation is coming to an end in August. I am dieing to grow again and have struck somewhat of a deal with a close friend of mine. The deal would be to grow at his house, he lives 45min away from my location. I will give him cash and he will pay for everything and have EVERYTHING in his name, the only thing is that I have to give him half of the crop. What say you OGers? I think its a great idea, and the way I have figured it this far I can't seem to find any adversion other than him taking more than he should. But theres no way he could actually pin this on me, I will wear gloves and all that when I go over to work on them. So theres my situation, what do you guys think? As far as laws go I am in Florida, and I can't stomach the thought of paying for it. Shoot me in the correct direction. Cheers

i'll tell ya straight up that growing w/ someone else isnt gonna work in the end , and i promise you that.

sure you can create all kinds of happy green-filled scenarious in your mind, but your gonna have different agendas, and ideas, and different levels of paranoia, and obviously your buddy will be shouldering most of the security risk (including YOU....yes "YOU" are a security risk to your buddy in this situation).

I've been thru this w/ good people, and guess what.... we arent friends anymore nor do we even speak, and this was w/ good friends that shared a big ass house, and a big enuff grow to keep everyone happy, but it doesent keep peeps from becoming greedy.

that's just my 2 cents...learn the hard way if you wanna!

if you cant keep a grow yourself, and keep it private...then u prolly shouldent be growing.....just too risky

Ya my main concern is him getting greedy. My main idea behind this was my love to grow this wonderful plant and not have to pay for garbage anymore, I still have a few months to figure it out and probably as I sit on it it wont swallow as well as it does now. Thanks for the insight. Anyone else have this set-up work for them, or doomed from the start? Cheers

I have to spread some rep around so I can't K+ ya NOKUY.

He's absolutely right, more often than not it won't work, especially the smaller operations. Eyes get pretty big around all the herb and people get greedy. Even best friends and brothers. You better both be very like minded and be absolutely sure everything is decided upfront.

Ya we arent best friends by any means. I am just getting strung out with this rehab/probation gimmick, IT SUCKS. Im not withdrawing from weed, but I love the shit, who doesnt? So basically I need to suck it up and pay for it. We have all the details worked out but greed is a nasty feeling. I wont even entertain the htought of growing in my house again as a second strike wont be so lenient. This hob nob of arresting a kid whos house burned down and had 2 plants inside is for the birds. Stay safe you guys.

It's just not smart to grow with others in most cases, especailly if you don't both have the utmost respect and trust for each other.

if you do this, I'm already calling that the person either f's up the plants or decides that since the plants are all his because he's been taking all the risk and paid for everything.

Only you know the situation and your friend. I think that in the end people get greedy. Its nice to think that you could share this with someone else and enjoy growing with a friend but like mentioned earlier I think you guys wouldnt be friends anymore. Stay safe and use your best judgement.
