There's not been much happening the crop is drying, clones and seedlings look happy.

20250528_161258.jpg

I cut some lcg cuts about a wk ago then added blockbuster and tangie 2/3 days later.
20250525_231016.jpg

Blockbuster x exo and blockbuster x grape fog my own pollen chuck.
20250525_231205.jpg

From the 2 Hsc blueberry muffin only 1 sprouted and it's not doing great, it'll grow it needs more time.
20250525_223926.jpg

I started 2 lemon cherry gelato s1 in 2ltr airpots at the weekend they've both sprouted and growing away happy!

Working out a plan here I want to keep the blueberry, dna and lcg under 24hrs for a bit longer and flip the other's.
20250529_175814.jpg

I swapped one of the lemon cherry gelato seeds into the biggest pouch I have
20250529_173206.jpg

And put grape fog seedling into the 2ltr airpot.
20250529_175655.jpg

I plugged the timer in they're starting 12-12 today, Thurs 29th May...

Edit...potted exo clone today into 2ltr airpot...Friday 30th May.
20250530_144243.jpg

That's the blueberry over its right shoulder, it might break out into normal growth now its deffo come on yesterday and today 🤞

It's been a few days things are moving along nicely.
20250602_202405.jpg

20250602_202720.jpg

Plants can be frugal when needed, the plant ^^^ front between the tubs gets through 24hrs with a feed, sometimes a feather could knock it over but it's never once been wilted, it's not too important it's twin blueberry muffin is below at the back and grape fog front.
20250602_204254.jpg

The lcg clones I cut last week were from a re vegging plant
20250531_191057.jpg

it's something I've not cloned before, there's roots today on 1 of them today 🥳
I'm sure the others will follow soon?
20250602_204203.jpg

The blueberry still looks like shit I almost pulled it today...a knee jerk reaction 😂
20250602_204234.jpg

It's not in my way and I'm not in hurry so I'll let it roll and see what happens?

There's some interesting aromas I can't wait to get wrapping them into joints
I haven't been able to smoke for quite some time now because of lung disease. Since 2010 it's been cookie everyday. I do miss the flavors of cannabis, one gets from smoking. Cookies just don't offer that same experience as smoking, at least when it comes to flavor.

Another fine harvest and the next lined up. Any new learning experiences that are mentionable. I've enjoyed your thread since learning of it.

Hey bud thank you I'm glad you're enjoying the thread 🙏
I'm so sorry to hear you can't smoke it these days, that's not so good bro.

Something I'll take away to try in future is a something for training, there's probably other things but this comes to mind atm.
20250525_162116.jpg

Instead of using bends I'd buckle/fold the stem, the bends are OK but the plants kinda closed up and needed bending back down periodically, once they're in place after re potting I'm toiling to get back to them to correct any issues, I think folding might rule out those issues?

Cheers 🍻

I can't help but think a good training method would be beneficial to production. Myself, I just kind of wing it, which in most cases leaves me with branches all over the place. Not the best practice.

In my old age, I'm having a more difficult time growing. This last crop I carried two 4L milk jugs of water for plant watering and hurt my back and was down to carrying one 4L jug of water. I couldn't lift the 5 gal. plant containers. I need to simplify my methods and make things easier on my old and damaged body.

Yes, I do miss smoking, for flavor but have come to enjoy the benefits of edibles.

I can't remember if I mentioned the new 250w led I've installed in my clone tent?
20250522_202116.jpg
After thinking about it i decided going from 96w of t5 to 60/65w (25% of 250w) of led wasn't a great idea with new sprouts so I hung the t5s again until they'd grown on a little.
20250522_203207.jpg

They've grown on now but It's not too warm here I'm kinda toiling getting temps up with t5s so I'm going to need a heater before I can go the led route.
20250602_202405.jpg

As it happens I spent like 6/8wks finding a suitable heater for the tent, would you believe I bought 4 new tube heaters consecutively and all 4 were faulty...omg i nearly gave up, 4 heaters had to be returned how grim is that 🙁
Thankfully it's all behind me 😁 I've neat 90w tube heater and it actually works 🥳

Edit....I got tube heater into the tent on a heat controller to keep between 19/21⁰C at night.
20250604_160259.jpg

2 ice cream tubs saved the day, I only needed something to prop it up above the tray whoa it's going to be tropical in there tonight 😄

I remember the issues now, the pitfalls of using led over t5s are all coming back to me 🫢
20250605_155412.jpg

With t5s I plug them in that's it job done the temps are never far off, if the ambient temp is too low the radiated heat from t5s keeps everything good ± they're loveable 🥰

With led I need a heater + hardware to control it, heat is good with led but the floor doesn't get much of it without a fan.

So I need a small fan to get the heat down to the floor, that's good for spreading heat but then the constant breeze dries out my pouches too quickly and messes with my ec?
OK then raise the tray off the floor...oh I can't, the led is already too bright (60w), I've already got the light raised to max so raising the plants isn't a option atm.
I wasn't totally beat I come up with this after trying it here and there.
20250605_163128.jpg

At near point blank to the roof a 5/6" fan is enough to gently sway the leaves down below (think summer breeze) that's also enough to stir heat around hopefully without having too much drying effect, the lights been off a couple of hours it's 23.6⁰c 😊
20250605_155500.jpg

That transition went pretty sweet that's a 1st.
I need to get the harvest out of the tent now and get those plants into the tent and potted up asap where possible 🥳

They're around 3wks now this next week will reveal the sex on them...fingers crossed for bubblegum in particular, they look promising I've no real concern looking at the overall picture theyre more female than male looking atm...I should say I've been wrong tons of times!
20250607_144358.jpg

The exo/bbstr and gf/bbstr are 2 of bigger examples, the bubblegum has defined pointy serations you can maybe tell them?
20250607_144326.jpg

I've bent/buckled the stem on grape fog seedling, I flattened the stem last night but it was upright this morning, I've buckled it again only a bit more seriously.
20250607_150416.jpg

The environment in the new tent is sweet I've increased the power by another 25% (20k lux ±) 15/16k luk with the door open 🤓

Atm it's costing 120% more to run led over t5s, watt for watt led is brighter no doubts but it has less heat so i need a heater etc negating any saving its considerably more at 60/120% more.
For the extra it's costing me the environment is near ideal and I've a much bigger space effectively lit/heated.

Have a nice weekend folk's 🍻

Looks like things are growing well in here! Nice solution for top side heat 🫡 finally got a heater that works properly! Which one did you end up using? Hoping your bubblegum is female! 🤞 Peace 🕊️🌲🌍
Hey bud, it's a 90w tube heater, after #4 faulty heater i got the brand name off a tube heater I've had working for years...the brand is "Hylite" 👍

I've got to say bro I've been well impressed with your gear, the grape fog I bent down on Friday is from Majik Bloom.
20250608_190812.jpg

I've a couple of other lcg aswell I started around 10 days ago from Majik Bloom.
20250607_200335.jpg

This crop I've got 2 clones originating from Majik Bloom (1 that I grow regularly) and I've 3 other strains from seeds, great stuff bro 🥇 10/10

Hi friend 👋 good info. I was using a compact fan heater on sensor that worked well but not as safe as your solution 👍 Will look into that brand of heater. Thank you for sharing!

I'm so grateful for you growing them out and seeing what's in the seeds! Haha nice finding some strength in the stems too. Grape Fog was from tissue culture, perhaps it has a role to play the succeeding generation 🤔 Here's to you finding more keepers in the future 🌻

Your exo/bb cross looks superb, frosty and chunky! Are you thinking of working back to exo? I've a good recipe for STS happy to share. 500ml of a & b in the refrigerator would last you a long time 🍻

All the best, peace ~ 🙏🌲🕊️

This monster cloning thing fricken rocks!
20250502_180051.jpg
Cloning in flower works to our advantage when pheno hunting, they're easy to care for and they re veg slow enough that we've time to grow, dry then test the product before investing any time on clones that migh end in the bin.
20250607_213532.jpg

20250608_152531.jpg

The alternative of 12/16 regular clones rooting them then those growing vigorously for the duration of flowering, drying and testing... omg that doesn't bear thinking about 😄

I snapped a few pics of the clones I repotted a while back 11/12th May iirc?
Grape fog..

The lemon cherry gelato I bent down on Friday, pic Saturday.

I can't imagine the work/space monster cloning has saved me over the years, it's a super method ☺️

@majik.bloom thanks bro I'll hold ofd with the recipe for now but I'll maybe get back to you later, I've got silver nitrate and sodium thio sulphate I think it's called, I've a couple of plants I'm going to try and reverse but I need to get my tent organised before I can deal with that.

Yaayyy It's a boy 🙄
20250611_181440.jpg

I'm going to let it roll and maybe pollinate a few lower bubblegum buds if the other 1 is female🤞
20250611_181354.jpg

I put another buckle in the lemon cherry gelato stem I want the other shoots to catch on so everything grow out evenly?

My new tent set up could buy me a couple of weeks more in there, the light is suitable to get them into the early stages of flowering.

You might remember that point blank fan I installed facing the roof?

It increased the humidity from the low 70,s to low 80,s
Blowing over damp pouches and leaf surfaces (@250x)

It's no surprise fans raise humidity and dry out foliage aka windburn in some cases

Fans blow 😜
