Can anyone give me some advice, or does any one have any tricks of the trade they would be willing to share on how to grow good outdoor ducksfoot, and how to get my hands on some ducksfoot seeds?

Hey toast, Ive been growing Wallys ducksfoot for a few seasons outdoors. It's a great strain but a little long on finishing in the northern Hemisphere.

I'm at 41.9N and it goes right up to Halloween before it done.

The stealth properties are fantastic and if Wally ever breeds the odor out of that gem, I'll be growing those on my front lawn.

Here's a couple of ducks I've grown. I'm most impressed with the quality and high of the buds.

I got Wallyduck's , duckfoot seeds, through Gypsy, there in the GN collection on his site.

enjoy

Gurilla style

Gurilla style

So yeah you mentioned the strong odor that the duckfoot gives off, I'am planning on growing gurilla style, will this odor compermize the plot, or is it not very noticed by any one who may walk by. Will it atomatically be noticed as a bud plant? Also i am planing to transfer my plants to a brushy area i thoguht since duckfoot does not look like bud i might spread it through out the area of brush to make any citizens who saw it think it is a local plant. My question is am i being to hopefull on the stupidity of the common person or does this seem like a logical, and sensible plan?

It's true, ducksfoot doesn't look like a traditional MJ plant until it starts to flower, and the smell will definately give it away, as the skunk odor hangs heavy anywhere near the plant, especially on those hot dry sun filled afternoons.

You can tie down the branches and train the plant to grow horizontally, which help conceal it appearance but it would be best to pick a location where human traffic is minimal.....or ideally, non-existant.

good luck

Ducksfoot fininsh around end october in 45 North... The plants were 2 months in flowering (heavy cristals but not so much buds) but i guees it can be a 100 days flowering ladies to have full frosties buds.

If you you grow too much in cold and humid latittudes do it in dry conditions outdoor (under a roof) or in greenhouse. And may use fongicides.

Ducksfoot is a tropical plant like hazes

Tricky to grow but very special to smoke... (Big up cerebral high like Amsterdam hazes i'm lucky to try time to time) So let's try some in a dry place !

Peace; Phil :smoker:
