DBT Genetics BlueberryHaze

Hi everyone. BBHaze buds- caribbean style. The gene pool is full of some of the best herb on the planet. :artist:

Strain: Blueberry Haze
Breeder: DBT Genetics
Grower: aka Docs
Grow Info:
Outdoors Organic
Cure at time of smoke test:
7 days

Bag Appeal: A+
Beautiful light green, golden, orange hairs.

Smell:
Very complicated smell. Hints of mixed berries, citrus pinesol. I think the cure will bring out the true smell in a few weeks but right now it's a mixed bag. Very nice smell though!

Texture:
super Sticky Icky, crazy, rolling papers stick to your hands finger hash is evident after breaking up a half a gram.

Taste:
Just as it smells, very complex,. The smoke is sweet and smooth and an experienced toker such as myself was (extremely rare do I cough-i have an extremely high tolerance for the herb) coughing on the first hit about a couple secs after it went down on its way back out. lol.

Effect:
Very sativa with some indica in for good relaxation. After the first toke, you will feel it go straight behind your eyes, then an up floaty feeling, just feel good sort of herb. Great for munchies too.

I am Bloody Treez from DBT Genetics, and this is some BBHaze bud grown outdoors by my partner aka Docs. Bud was properly dried/cured for 7 days. Our BBHaze buds tend to turn golden, taste better and give an even better smokewith a longer cure, say after about 1-1&1/2 months, this strain has a long shelf life. I think I should be in the 50+ posts now, so I can receive some PMs. Since I really want to get this strain out to the world to a couple of growers for some testers before we put these on the market, we have narrowed down and stabalized our strain to 3 phenos and they are all outstanding.

Anyone who can pass on some good info to get me started in sending out seeds to seedbay or wherever a good grower looking for some of the best pot on the planet, please pm me. Thank you:tiphat:

which haze was used? nevilles? looks divine!

Actually NYC PurpleHaze from the 90's and local sativa landrace with haze qualities as well. This strain has a very mixed heritage of champion herb lines from all around the world, and we are constantly working to make it better in terms of variation but yet still consistent. Our line has been stable since 2006 from inbreeding and outcrossing. So it is definitely IBL. We hope that by getting these out that some of the master growers out there who can carry on what we have already worked on, to take our 3-5 diff phenos and zero in by cloning and backcrossing something we are unable to do due to the illegal nature of the herb where we are located. I am not boasting and bragging when I say this is very potent hybrid smoke. Dreamy and floaty meditative highs, the haze effect taste and extremely complex scent and flavours. Pretty soon she will be available for test grows. Very vigorous strain - will make the best smokers in the world happy, keep you posted.

I'm looking forward to see more of those hybrids growing ! The buds looks very nice !

that would be interesting to compar in/out , as if it has some local landraces inside the genes, the result indoor could be quite different, especially if it has been bred outdoor with a full carribean sun...
Also props to you for not using clones, it gets the job done easier, but nothing is better than some open pollination to share a large spectrum of the genepool by the seeds.

I'ld love to apply for test but i ve no idea when will be my next grow due to travelling... so guess next time !

by the way, you should definetly look into realeasing and storing some seeds of the local landraces that have stayed pure, we need more landraces genes around, especially carribean, and they need to be stored in pure form... spreading the seeds is the best way to ensure that the genepool will be kept...

great job DBT, all the best for your seedline !

Lovely pics and congratulations on your new strain. Must feel really really super having come this far with a strain :) It's definitely one of my dreams to create one of my own some day.

Have you tried to grow it indoors? Some stress testing, like how does it respond to topping/multibranching etc? Looking forward to more information, good luck and don't get caught!

These girls have been flourishing under the tropical sun for the past 3 years. Indoors I can't wait to see what you will get, as far as how it compares to SSSDH - lets just say - you will have to find out! So many phenos and flavors you are sure to fall in love with at least one of them if not all. I always feed organics, so you will have to zero in, but I can vouch for and say definitely not a heavy feeder. So start small and see how she does. In a hydro setup you should grow monsters!:jump: I cant wait to see what you do with these in that type of set up.

wat you got for indoors that yeilds good ?
I am hoping these do well indoors. I have seen one person do them indoors and got over 2.5 ozs with a 400W hps, and that was 12/12 from seed. So yields can vary depending on phenotype, and veg time, but the strain is very vigorous and fast growing. As these go out to the masses, I am sure we would get good feedback as to yield under lights!

Great write up and pictures. Hairyy buds.
Thanks ops_uk..:bump:

These will be available on the bay soon, stay tuned, and I will keep you posted! I promise you guys its gonna be different - flavor of the tropics. (Tropical Blends) Something you don't want to miss out on!
