Dayton Fans

Im plannin my new grow, and the extra room I'll be growing in, doesn't have a 120v line, only 240v. My ballast is allready set up to run on 240, but I need to get a couple of dayton blowers to air cool my reflector and exhaust the box.
Can they run, or be made to run on 240 volts?
Or is there something I can get that can allow me to do it?

I'm not aware of any daytons that are capable of running 120v/240v...there might be an exception with some of the larger output ones tho. What's the model # of your fan?

You're probably gonna have to run a subpanel or an extension cord from another room tho...

I haven't gotten the fan yet, but I need 2 265cfm fans, I probally will have to run an extension cord from another room, there won't be that much power on it, so no worries I guess.

my entire light system is 240v...looked forever for the exact same thing, never found...run a 110 line, or an extension cord homey...stay safe

How about you do it the easy way and use a Voltage Converter. That way you're not stuck with a bunch of 240 volt crap forever. Remember to get one big enough for what you want to do. Fan's don't usually pull that many watts, but check it out. FYI Vortex fans are a way better deal, last longer, run quieter and use less electricity.. oh and they are easier to hook up and mount.
