o rly? all my computer clocks tried to set last weekend cause that was the original weekend. it's a week later this year, bet it had something to do with politicians and money. energy plants needed an extra week of daylight.

yea I heard that windows units where turing the clock back last week, lucky for me I have a mac and didn't have any trouble.

The whole idea way back when it was first implemented was to give an extra hour to the farmers and stuff in the morning of light. I hate the clock change, it makes no sense anymore. We should be more like Saskatchewan, that province is full of farmers and they don't change teh clocks

Daylight saving time supposedly accomplishes a few things not the least of which is saving lives in accidents,mainly traffic accidents.The supposedly far fewer accidents due to the extra hour of light at the end of the day more than makes up for the accidents that may happen as a result of prolonged darkness in the morning hours,supposedly.Then theres the issue of crime,supposedly less crime will occur having an extra hour of light during evening hours.And finally the savings in power which to me is the most feasible of the three.When Ben Franklin first conceived the idea it was agricultural purposes only,crackheads and crazy drivers came later
