Day 8 from seed, green cotyledons and yellow true leaves?

I water from tap(110PPM), pHd with apple cider vinegar but a couple days ago I added enough CSN17 Grow to raise it to 150PPM. Could such a low dose still cause nute burn and would that explain her green cotyledons and yellow true leaves? Or is this what light bleaching looks like? I have her and another fem. seedling under a 150w hps approx. 12" away and both covered under clear tupperware to keep humidity. I misted with Dove soap and water and then again with crushed garlic but woke this morning to these dark spots. I figured I'm starting to take on too many variables not to ask questions @this point.

Your loving them too much. I generally don't do anything to water for the first 10-14 days of a seedlings life (including messing with ph). And using vinegar on my plants would make me extremely nervous (and from my understanding it doesn't hold ph for very long). Just spend the $20 on some ph adjuster.

Yeah, you get up, down and a little dropper PH test kit from GH for around $15... To me it is mandatory if you are serious at all. I agree w/ Bull too, when they're small they don't need much to be happy, so it's easy to over-do it. Certainly, you should at a minimum have the kit I mention above (or something similar) and either a TDS or EC meter which can be had for another $15 USD if you shop around a little. The only reason I started using hydro is because in theory it should be the easiest way to success and so far it is working out splendidly. If you get the proper tools, your results should be similar if you follow directions. Good luck!

thanks. I only tried the apple cider vinegar cus I heard it has 30 trace minerals. I have a cheap TDS meter thanks to China and pH strips. I guess I need to scrap her and start over.

dont scrap her, let her live. treat her nice and she'll bounce back.just leave her alone for the first 2 weeks. what are you growing in? 12" away should be okay if you have good air circulation or enclosed in tupperwear BUT open it up every couple hours for air. at that age they love humidity but still need to breathe. and DONT use vinegar. that's soooo ghetto. ph bounces around too much.

I agree with all above. You are treating for symptoms you don't have, no need to PH, fertilize, mist with anything or have under a humidity dome. Don't treat your plants for anything unless they show you a problem. It's very easy to worry about things that may or may not exist and "over love" your plants to death when they are seedlings and you are new to growing.
BTW in order to get the trace minerals and beneficials from Apple Cider Vinegar it has to be the Raw ACV.
