Day 45 Flower Are These Seeded?

Here are the details to my grow, my question is in the next paragraph, thanks for your help. Day 45 of flower, strain is Northern Lights by Nirvana. Growing in soil (1.3 gallon pots). Vegged for 40 days. Plants are LST'd and about 20" tall. Temperature is around 60 dark and 72 light. Room is light sealed and for extra precaution a blanket is hung over the door and the plants are moved behind another blanket during dark cycle. Power is completely cut off to the room during dark cycles (even power strip is dead). Plants are healthy no over ferting.

I noticed some swollen calyxes today and opened a couple up. There are tiny pin sized (almost too small to see) round object attached to the end of the pistols. And the pistols are turning brown/red. I have a feeling its a seed, can someone confirm this, or do calyxes have ovaries? I have not found any male flowers or have any males at all. I have looked and looked but there is nothing.

Personally - I harvest when some trics start to turn from cloudy to amber




do a quick search for "trics amber clear and cloudy"

That will fill in the spaces.

According to that thread some people are saying that its normal and is not from being pollinated.

un -pollenated calyxs seem to have nothing in them

i remember tiny lil green balls in the calyxs from some outdoor that hermed late on me,you possible have seeds....

Hermi plants will generate male flowers and self pollinate - it can be part of the genes of the plant - or in some cases it can be stress induced.

Can't change anything now,, take a chill pill quit annoying the plants. How would you like to have YOUR privates poked and prodded by some novice?

nah man, females get those things... dno what they are called exactly, but female plants have them... not seeds...
