Day 34 flower - sick leaves

I'm currently on day 34 of flowering, and one of my plants is getting a lot of yellowing of the leaves. This is my first grow (soil, Nirvana NL x BB, FoxFarm ocean forest soil and nutes, 150w hps, 2 plants), and I've always had trouble determining whether yellowing is caused by not enough nutes or too much. I've attached a pic below. It seems like burn to me, but I'm not sure. Which is strange because I've only ferted twice since flowering began (these plants have been very sensitive to nutes). This plant I believe is also rootbound, which might be causing the yellowing as well. Next watering is in a few days and is supposed to be with ferts, so I want to confirm what the problem is before I feed them more.

what nutes and strength if your using Fox Farm tiger bloom and big bloom, tiger bloom should be introduced at 1/4 strength 1st wk nute's are introduced and then adjusted each wk upto full strength big bloom and be full strength it's mostly worm casting. with having a sensitive plant ya may want to not give her full strength usally the plant will tell ya when she needs to be feed nutes. most soil especially FF has enough nutes to carry her for around 3-4 weeks

here lets get little more info on your setup so we may better serve and help you
grow erea deminsions WxDxH
lighting
soil/hydro
ferts if any what used and strength
grow room temps
how often watered
how much liquid used for water
how judged when to water

during veg i dont fert what so ever i transplant every2 wks untill flowern time and new soil has enough for the plant, untill next transplant. as to not over or under water i like to place the plants in bath tub then add water untill it starts to drain out the drainage holes in bottom stop then. after the water stops draining i place back into the grow erea, for a few plants this works very nice and allows for compleate inspection when ya water em :)

I'm growing in a closet, approx. 2x6x12 (but about 5-6 feet usable height). My lighting is a 150w hps with 2 80w shoplites on the side. I'm growing in FFOF soil. My ferts are tiger bloom and big bloom. My temps are around 80. Here is my exact watering/fert schedule since flowering (it's been fairly light):

Feb. 27 - Initiated flowering
Mar. 2 - Plain watering, pH of runoff is 8.4-8.5, too high.
Mar. 5 - Watered with plain, pH adjusted water, got the runoff down to 7.3-7.5
March 9 - watered with tiger bloom and big bloom both at 1/4 strength, runoff is 7.6
March 14 - plain watering, got the runoff down to 6.9-7.1
March 22 - Watered with Tiger bloom and big bloom at 1/2 strength
March 30 - watered with plain water

My plants are easily overwatered and overferted, so I've been going light so far. Once I give them a good soak, they can easily go a week with no water. I water just enough to get a little runoff to come out of the bottom of the pots, usually around 60-70 oz. (they are in 3.9 gallon pots). I judge when to water my the weight of the pots and the moisture of the soil.

PH could still be a factor have you tried little dolimite lime in the soil, either gently scratch top 2 inchs of soil if possible then spread 2 tabelspoon's lime per gal soil and water. after few days plant should start to look better and the dolimite lime helps to keep ph in check

Yes, I tried dolomite lime - before I did my last transplant I mixed lime with the soil. Actually, I put too much (2 cups/5 gallons soil), which maybe contributed to my high pH problem. Anyway, since my pH was too high, it wouldn't make much sense to put more lime in, since lime raises the pH. I don't think it's heat stress, since my temps are not that high. I'll water with just plain water next time and check the pH again.

another way to flush the soil is 3x in water per gal soil {ie} 3 gal pot take's about 9 gal water to flush compleatly

two Q's

how big are the pots?

and

what specific additives and nutes did you add to the potting soil?

anyway, it sounds like too high pH to me..if you have followed the above advice then I'd suggest to mix up half strength ferts @ 6 on the pH scale..wait a few hours then test and adjust it again and then water it in....this will help bring down the pH of the medium to a lower level and make the nutrients available for the roots to uptake....you should see greener growth within a few days...add 25% stronger mixes of ferts for the following watering and take it from there!

I'm having exactly the same problem at the mo.....I tried a new brand of organic fert pellets (and guano) that I made teas from and also top dressed with.....I've noticed it's way stronger than the other brand I usually use, it seems a little unbalanced to me and it sends my pH up like crazy. I won't be using that shit again( if I do I'll start with a different soil mix, use less and watch the ph closer instead of being a slack ass and assumming it's ok!) ..the lesson here is never dedicate your entire grow to a new untested fertiliser if you can help it....

could i measure the pH of my soil by mixing a couple spoons of soil into a half glass of distilled water, mixing it well, and submerging a pH strip in it for a few seconds??
i am new to pH measuring and thought i may ask here due to the theme of the thread :D thank you.

peace.

Paz - don't do that

there are cheap pH soil probes on the market too but they don't seem to work that well imo

the idea is to prepare a neutral or slightly acidy soil mix and water in with pH 6.3 ~ 6.7 when it needs it..that way you won't have problems

to test the ph of soil test the fluid before water it in and test it after....and adjust..over time this wqill lower the pH of the soil and make the nutrients more readily available to the plant

if the mix is a bit alkaline, water in with a slightly acidy solution...get some pH test paper or a meter to make sure it's correct.

I collect rain water and add organic teas...then I usually adjust it down with few drops of vinegar or other acid

"teas" being homemade organic fertilizer "teas" ......put a few handfulls of several varied types of organic ferts in a stocking and soak in a bucket of water for a week, stirring daily.....after about a week remove the stocking and dilute the solution down by 10 ~ 20 times with water, let it sit for a few hours then pH adjust the mixture down to low 6's for plants in potting soil

Happy Growing!

I'd bet a mill the pH is too high!......adjust your half strength fert solution down to 6 then water in...in a few days you should see the beginnings of greener faster growth

hey dude you need some clacium,, and magnesium.. .. or you can go to the hydro store were you bought the fox farm ,, and get it ,, ocean forrest soil is the shit ,, but only good for about 2 months ,, and thats only if the plant isn't super big for the container , but 34 days ,, your going to start seeing some more too ,, leaves tend to die off as the plants nears the end ,, what strain is it !! ,, if it is a 55 , to 60 day strain ,, prolly natural ,, but ,,if ya get to worried ,, then hit it with peters 20 -20 -20 one time ,, that will bring her around!
