day 14 of flowering new leaves cupping

I am at day 14 of flowering under a 250w HPS. Strain is 1 White Widow and 1 AK48 from Nirvana Seeds Standard. Temperatures 65/75 deg. Soil is Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Pots are 1.5 gallons. Using 2 tspns Fox Farm Tiger Bloom every other watering. PH is 6 but could be as low as the high 5's, the PH test kit kind of sucks even though its from a hydro store. I have given 1 dose of Epsom Salts about 3 weeks ago, 2 tspns. I also watered with 2 tspns dissolved dolomite lime last watering to get some calcium and to also hopefully raise the PH.

I am getting some yellowing on the lower leaves and the upper leaves are cupping and are turning a light green. According to the Fox Farm fert schedule I am not due to fert with Grow Big until next watering. I have been trying to get the PH to 6.3 by adjusting my ferted water to a PH of 7 but the runoff is still around or below 6. So I am tempted to say that my problem is either to low a PH or a lack of Nitrogen?

I was thinking of foliar feeding with 1/2 strength of Fox Farm Grow Big if just to temporarily get the plants by until the next watering if it is a Nitirogen deficiency.

Thanks for any help : )

i dont see any problems yet, mg/zinc/ph is usualy the culprit, ph being too high can cause mg def's but all my flowering girls always cant get enough mag...

Hey guys. They just don't seem right. On the newer growth the edges of the leaves are curling under and they are a very light green. When the lights turn on in about an hour and a half I will take some close shots of the curling leaves. I am not sure if you guys noticed or not but in the first pic I have some leaves on the very bottom yellowing. This is why I thought perhaps its a nitrogen deficiency. I understand that during flowering this is normal but from what I have read this should not happen until the end of flowering.

Thanks for your help.

Ok guys here are my pics. I am starting to see some sort of deficiency, its rust colored. I saw this during the last 2 weeks of veg and used a dose of Epsom Salts to fix the problem. It seems to be coming back again. Perhaps another dose of Epsom Salts?

You can see the newer leaves on the buds are really light colored and are curling down. Also notice the really red vein on the big fan leaf.

I forgot to mention the last time I watered I flushed and watered with no ferts.

I would help you but you dosed your plants with dolomite lime. This is very slow to react. So, you have to see how this plays out. Gypsum and epsom salts would have been a better choice when your boosting these. It keeps a balance and does not change ph which I don't think you need.

Sproutco,

I used dolomite lime because my PH is terrible and am hoping to get it to raise a little in the future. When using Tigerbloom I need to adjust my water PH to 8 just to get a runoff of 6. Something is not right. On the Foxfarm feeding schedule it says that the PH should be 6.3-6.8 I just have a feeling that my PH is too low or perhaps I am over ferting. I have been following the Foxfarm feeding schedule but maybe its too much for my plants.

Thanks for your help!
